Christmas Movies: Go
Around the year 2000 one of the movies my grandparents sent me had this promotional trailer called “Cool Movies On DVD”. It was a preview of a collection of teen drama, thriller, and horror films that came out between 1997 and 1999. I was a big fan of most of the movies in this line up including “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer”, “Urban Legend” and “Jawbreaker”, but there was one movie in the list I had never heard of before called “Go”. When I researched “Go” I learned that this movie was referred to as the younger sibling of “Pulp Fiction” from Quentin Tarantino. Eventually I saw it and realized not only was that true, but this movie is also one of the best Christmas movies ever.

Christmas Movies: Die Hard
YIPPIE KI YAY MOTHA— oh you know the rest. That famous Christmas jingle is a quote from the great John McClane portrayed by the legendary Bruce Willis in the Die Hard film series, some of the greatest action movies and Christmas movies ever.

Gifted
This past weekend was like one of those enjoyably repetitive Christmas movies you watch on Lifetime and Hallmark. Family fun in the Carolina countryside. Yes, I was loving it. This past weekend was so fun that I would’ve never expected what was gonna find me on Monday morning.

Christmas Movies: The Polar Express
So during holiday season of 2006 I was in my 8th grade language arts class which was taught by my teachers Ms. Hough and Ms.Craddock. Around about November I’d say they told us we were going to watch The Polar Express (2004). Now up to that point I had never seen The Polar Express. I honestly had no interest in seeing it, even though I am a big Tom Hanks fan, it really just looked like a typical holiday kids movie so I had no desire to see it, but what I never could’ve imagined after watching it was that The Polar Express would become one of my favorite Christmas movies ever.

Holiday Chaos
Marvin Grant and his 9 year old son Mason are walking into the Four Seasons mall ready to go to the KB Toys toy store. As they enter the mall through the store Dillard’s they make note of the enormous crowd. “Dad it’s a circus in here” Mason remarked. “I know baby boy” Marvin joked. “But you said you wanted that new X-Men toy from the movie.”
