Not One Person In Philly City Council Could Google Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II?
Fake King In City Council Meeting!

Per Ghana constitution there is actually no king in Ghana. In many countries there are no kings.
What Ghana does have are Paramount Chiefs and that is actually what Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is in Ghana's society. He is to be addressed as Asantehene.
However during a meeting in Philadelphia, the city council held a meeting in which they titled a 'mayor & a king'.
However the man in the photos was not the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
On their official Instagram account there are photos that can be located to show the photos of this fake Ashanti King.

The photos were shared by several members across multiple social media platforms, so much so that I happened to make comments asking who the man in the photos actually was. However those members who happened to be my Facebook friends refused to answer my questions.
One would think that people would at least do the bare minimum of research before inviting a person to a city council meeting. Especially a man of the political and cultural stature of the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. Not one person cared to make sure this was the actual "Ashanti King"?
This leads me to more and more believe that U.S. citizens have no idea abou the world around them. Below there is a video where I show not only photos but a video of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
As I'm writing this piece, I am seated at the studios of WHYY for their conference on Bridging Blocks. The conversation is about journalism and domocracy.
"Journalists joined community members to focus on the importance of stronger connections between local newsrooms and communities."
Engaging the community in the process of journalism, something that is currently under attack not only in the United States but in many countries around the world. In a video I have taken not of the state of free press in countries around the world which was also hosted by WHYY panelists.
One of the topics that seemed to be glossed over however, has been research, fake news media outlets. Many of these older journalists seemed to speak towards younger people, in order to teach them to dismantle misinformation.
While no one in Philadelphia City Hall bothered to check to make sure that this was the man he said he was.
Here is another post from the City of Philadelphia about an interview with the "fake Ashanti King" and again no one even has any idea that this man is not who they think he is.
From Councilman At-Large Jimmy Harrity's Instagram account.
"Had an incredible conversation with His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, King of the Ashanti Kingdom, about expanding opportunities between Philadelphia and Ghana. We discussed investment, growth, and strengthening the bond between our communities. His leadership and wisdom are truly inspiring."

Again this man might not even be Ghanaian who knows but he clearly doesn't look anything like Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Beyound photos, interviews and speaking to the fake King of Ghana, this should serve as more of an example of how corrupt and scammy Ghana is as not only a society but a country. Not only was this man representing someone that he is not, but the fact that no one in the political leadership of Philadelphia bothered to research the acutal appearence of the true leadership of the Ashanti Kingdom.
This news has yet to reach Ghana, I hope to be able to follow up on this incident, hopefully the news finds the true Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. I hope that he can get to the bottom of who this man was parading himself. Also note that the city of Philadelphia has a huge Ghanaian community, why didn't any of them take note of this "fake king"?
