Alone for Christmas
I remember thinking that when my kids were all grown and had their own families, that the house would be full on Christmas. I could always imagine my husband and I sitting in the house with the grandkids running around while dinner is being finished. Then we would all eat around a hug table. Then open gifts around the tree.

Seals and Bounty: The Protector
Katie I really can’t believe how bad my luck is. Bryan Shaw, really? I was just fine, actually perfectly fine never having to see his face again. I don’t think he really understands how I felt about him in high school. And he destroyed my confidence and self-esteem. I was embarrassed. I got laughed out the rest of that school year and even through the next year around town when I would run into any of his classmates. I had to go away to college just to get away from all of the jokes, pranks and talking behind my back. It made my high school experience the worst ever.

Seals and Bounty: The Protector
Katie Katie stepped out of her in the parking lot of Sonny’s Café’ and walked into the door with authority. She had no idea what this Bryan looked like, but he should know what she looked like, so she scanned the room to see someone motion for her to come over. That’s when this guy caught her eye. Lord, that man is fine. But it was his face that looked somewhat familiar. About that time, he motioned for her. As she got closer, her stomach hit the floor. It was Bryan Shaw from high school. She almost turned around and left, but instead decided that she should make this difficult for him.

Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone
As a teenager I had two dreams. One was to become an actress and the other a romance author. I quickly got over the actress one as time moved on, but in the back of my mind the dream to become a romance author stayed. From the time I can remember picking up a book, I loved to read. I got that from my parents. They both love to read. As a pre-teen my favorite books were Nancy Drew. As a teenager my mom started letting me read romance novels for teens and I literally fell in love with them. As an adult I started reading adult romance novels that eventually turned into my love for erotic romance. Even the romance story from the Twilight series, is some of my favorites because it also includes my love for vampires, witches, and werewolves. But it was Fifty Shades of Grey that made my dream start to come back to me.

UGH, Holiday Parking
Shopping on Christmas can be and really should be one of the most exciting thing to do of the whole year. Some of the world starts shopping for family gifts as soon as Christmas is over for the previous year while some start in the summer and last but not least are those that start or at least do most of their shopping on Black Friday.
