The Upload
Prologue: In the year 3000, the implants were put in. It was a small little chip not bigger than a quarter that they inserted onto the brain stem at the base of the brain. It was the next logical step in technology, I guess. We already had e-phones, e-pods, e-watches, e-cups, e-TVs, the e-homes etc. Tech had invaded our lives and just like the other things, the implant was a way to make life easier and more sustainable. Honestly, I can still remember the commercials now. “It’s not about you it’s about the environment. ” and “Let’s make life better for others so that living is better for all of us.” To be fair, I got one to cause just like all things that are new it was beautiful and very convenient. For example being able to text without a device or making a call without a phone. More upgrades kept coming every year it was something new to be added to it and then one day it started... the upload.

The Amateur Photographer
What is Photography? Photography is the art of taking something simple and mundane and turning it into something everyone wants to see. It’s seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary or seeing beauty in the regular things; that’s what makes it an art. Not everyone has a keen eye to spots photo worthy moments or spot what could be a million-dollar picture. When taking photos, you should always remember that the camera is an extension of yourself. You shouldn’t think of the lense as just an inanimate object, but more like a contact lense added to your original eye to enhance the original vision you got about the person, place or thing you want to take a picture of.

The Tyler Reese Story
For Reese, things were different. He didn’t quite fit into the community that he was brought up in. His skin tone tended to throw people for a loop because he and his mother didn't necessarily look African-American, even though they were. His plan began when he was 8 years old when his mother was killed. She wanted to leave the environment they were in, but the people she “worked for” didn’t agree with this. Her leaving meant she knew all their secrets, like their operations, their specific routes, their general schedule, the members of their crew and they couldn’t have that. This gang was different from most, they focused on educating their children and then passing on the gang to the most qualified child no matter who the child belonged to. They deeply believed that every generation was different from the last and that no one should be condemned for their parents’ mistakes and short cummings. The last leader of the gang fully took over when he was 17, but he won the challenge when he was 11 and Reese was determined to be one of the two left to do this sacred challenge.

All Things Self-Worth
Self-Love and Self-Esteem is something that people tend to brush to the side when its something that should be worked on and focused on on a daily basis. People spend their time valuing themself based on the value given to them by everyone else, but your quality of life and your happiness is based on how feel about yourself. I've learned that how you treat yourself and how you allow others to treat you is based on your Self-Esteem. When you love yourself, it shows in your actions and in your thoughts, but it takes time to get to that point and its a battle that you will be fighting for the rest of your life. As time passes by it will get easier to fight, but it is something that you have to work to maintain or else life (bad days, bad friends, bad experiences) will try to drag it down. Keeping up your self esteem up is based on different things, like mindeset (thoughts and beliefs about yourself), influence (friends and relationships) and actions (how you treat yourself).
