âThe Gods The Gods The Godsâ
You are invited onto the dance floor in the dimly-lit Kingfisher tent at Adelaide Fringeâs Gluttony. The three performers are spread at each of the three stages that surround the floor and then âThe Gods The Gods The Godsâ begins. Described as âgig theatreâ - itâs fast-paced, immersive and intimate. The show encompasses music, vocals and storytelling with spoken word poetry. Twelve tracks/three stories and the overall effect is transcendent. The emotions of the audience are rattled, purged and finally uplifted. âThe Godsâ indeed makes you feel something. The show covers all the gamuts of human emotion: love, existence, loss, loneliness and self-esteem. Our apathy towards institutional gods is also touched on, as well as the Greek gods of old.
