Old School Anime Reviews - Appleseed (1988)
When it comes to the sci-fi genre in anime, there are many, many titles from which to choose. You have a literal anime buffet of sorts, so you can pick your proverbial poison. Some of the more well-known titles include Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Neon Genesis, Evangelion, and, of course, the numerous entries in the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise.

15 Underappreciated Anime I (Redux)
The 15 Underappreciated Anime series is one of my favorite ones to work on, it's also the starting point of my pop-culture writing. Unfortunately, the website where the original first entry was posted seems to have gone offline - meaning that and many others that I wrote are now unavailable.

Crime Chronicles: The Poisonous Housekeeper
Anna Schonleben, this isn't a name that many would be familiar with, which makes it a perfect entry for the Crime Chronicles series. Now, this one is probably going to be one of the shorter entries in the series so let's get to it.

Alan Wake Review
Alan Wake was developed by Remedy Entertainment over the course of 5 years and was published by Microsoft Game Studios and Remedy Entertainment. Written mostly by Sam Lake, the game was originally meant to be an open world survival game - the exact opposite of the company's previous title - Max Payne. Unfortunately, however, there were some difficulties merging the gameplay with the story that they wanted to tell and so the game had to be re-worked.

Crime Chronicles: Lucy Letby
I wasn't planning to write about this - especially not as part of the Crime Chronicles series - but there's something that's been bugging me and I have to get it off my mind before I go bonkers...well, more bonkers than I am already.

Dead Space (2008) Still Looks Good!
I'd been hearing the hype around the Dead Space for years. In the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, I finally pulled the proverbial trigger and picked up the original trilogy. With that in mind, and considering that the first game recently got a remake, I wanted to share my thoughts on those games.

AO Archives: Midnight Ride
Well, it's time for another edition of AO Archives. Last time we discussed the game Lustful Valley. If you remember that review, you'll remember I wasn't overly keen on it. It looked nice, sure, and the premise was good, but there was a lot of wasted potential there. It probably wasn't the best starting point to this project but it got the ball rolling and lined up our second entry - Midnight Ride.

Resident Evil (2002 Remake)
Resident Evil. That's a name that strikes fear and admiration in horror gamers worldwide. The franchise has been going for close to 30 years and, despite a few missteps, has shown little sign of slowing down. That said, my first introduction to the Resident Evil franchise was through Paul Anderson's film series and not through the games themselves.
