A Cabin In The Woods
We drove up the snowy, winding road towards the cozy A-frame cabin at the top of the hill. A place too familiar to us; a breath of fresh air even on this cold night. In the first year of our marriage, before the kids, we swore to make it a tradition to take a weekend off every year to ourselves. 5 years and three children later, weāre here like clockwork, in the last week in December to spend time away from the kids. Yet in the last three years, itās been more about getting away from the endless activities with work, our business, and the kids than it has been about spending time with each other.

How To Grab Someone's Attention And Make Them Feel Comfortable On Your Website
We've all got them: Those websites that we visit, look around for a few seconds, and thenāfor whatever reasonāmove on to something else. The website may have a great product or service, but it lacks the one thing that's most important when it comes to a websiteāa clear call to action. That's why creating an effective landing page is so important: It takes your visitors from "interested" to "sold."

Letters to Random People ā Man on The Bandwagon
Dear Beautiful Boy, Sitting in the bandwagon distracted by the usual thoughts that spin around in the walls of my mind every morning. I assessed the only person sitting next to me and you seemed calm and clean. I was grateful for this blessing because God knows we meet some awful smelly people on this type of wagon every day. A blessing I didnāt care to take a second look at.

Cut Yourself Some Slack; You're HumanĀ š¤Ø
The discerning readers among you have already figured out that I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. Why writing can be liberating; you get to express every single one of those bottled up emotions, your crazy dreams, the jaw-dropping dramatic scenes you conjured on the bus to work, your beliefs, your discoveries, your fears, and mistakes. There's a beauty in setting them free and sharing them with the world. Yet for these same reasons, it can be daunting. It means being vulnerable and open to other people's criticisms and scrutiny. It is a revelation of who you are in totality. And trust me, it shows in every word you write and every feeling you express no matter how hard you try to conceal it.
