The clock struck six as Detective Amelia Ashford stepped into the opulent halls of Alderwood Manor. The esteemed Alderwood family resided here, nestled amongst the cobbled streets of London. The grounds were usually closed, with the eccentric Sir Edmund Alderwood closing the doors to everyone outside. Today, however, Amelia had been invited to join a dinner party to showcase the famous Alderwood Diamond.
