I'm a poet by nature and a Soldier by trade and my writing reflects my experiences not only in life but also in war. I use writing as way to express myself and deal with the horrors I've seen and hope my words can help my fellow Veterans.

We Are The 22:
As a Veteran I deal with Mental Health issues and have served with many that do as well. Serving ones country is no easy task especially during times of war. I wrote "We Are The 22: Part 1" after a good friend and former Soldier of mine took his own life. I hope that this visual poem will let others know they aren't alone and help curb the tragedy.
