For Unity
Every few decades there have been moments that seem to suggest the United States might somehow get it's act together. Unfortunately, today there have been no moments that even come close to signaling this nation can become united once again. United behind a plan of direction that will secure a better future for all. The stark reality facing America is that greed, and the lack of cohesiveness between all political parties, have pitted one entity against the other. Consequently, the United States is anything but united. Too many splinter groups and organizations, each with their own brand of agendas, continue to pull this nation apart.

When America Played The Trump Card The United States Lost
Who would have thought that at the beginning of last year's Presidential Primaries, Donald Trump would go on to become the President. In retrospect, too many Americans failed to heed the warning signs that Trump displayed right from the first Republican debate. The media being so focused on their bottom line shoved Trump into the nation's consciousness with every debate and public appearance. As it turned out, it was a win-win for both the media and Trump. The main stream media conglomerates made millions and Trump went on to win the electoral college and the Presidency. As we look back to that very first debate of the Republicans it became quite obvious what the media and Trump were doing. It is too bad the American public failed to see that while the media was reaping huge financial dividends in covering Donald Trump, Trump was beguiling the public into thinking that only he can, as his catch phrase goes "Make America great again." Today the country has only moved in reverse and not forward under the Trump Presidency.

Magnetic Energy: Lindbergh's Secret
As long as there continues to be more oil discoveries instead of developing and implementing renewable green energy sources, global warming will continue to get more intense. The pursuit for more power, control, and wealth by the current energy conglomerates that continue to use fuel sources of the first and second industrial revolution has always prevailed. They have always trumped those who seek renewable green energy sources that would benefit all of mankind and achieve a balance with nature. Lives have been sacrificed, the natural balance of the planet has been compromised, and mankind has always been the unwitting victim of the greed by the powers that be. Their unquenchable thirst has wrought mayhem and destruction on a global scale for over a hundred years. All one has to do to realize just how far they will go is just look what happened to the Tucker Automobile. The ice caps melting at alarming rates is yet another sure sign that our consumption of fossil fuels has only accelerated climate change all over the world.

The Debt Of A Nation
The history of this nation is being written in the annals of debt that has become almost to insurmountable. There have been two critical factors that have derailed the sovereignty and stability of the United States. In all our recorded history of over 200 years this nation has seen only small periods where our armed forces were not engaged in some conflict or another somewhere around the globe. From the time of John F. Kennedy's death all the way up to today the national debt has continued to climb. There are two important factors as to why this nation still can't grasp the concept of elimination of our now catastrophic national debt. A nation at war and a nation that relies on the creation of money by privately owned banks like the Federal Reserve Board are the most ruthless ingredients to incur massive debt.

The Failings of Trump And Our Government
For the first time in recent memory, the United States has a sitting President who by all accounts has demoralized the office of the Presidency. Since his term began there have been crisis after crisis of internal conflicts that have all originated by Trump's own actions. Not one of his campaign pledges has come to fruition. In fact, most of these self inflicted crisis have nothing to do with the real concerns facing millions of Americans each and every day. If we consider the House repeal of the Affordable Health Care Act as a sign of things to come under this Administration, the majority of Americans will be faced with insurmountable hardships in the years ahead. It is too bad that our Founding Fathers omitted one important detail in the Constitution. The Constitution outlines that federally elected officials are exempt from voter recalls. Today, many states can recall their state and local elected officials when these elected office holders fail to uphold the duties of their office. We have seen in a recent case when the Governor of California was recalled and in a special election was voted out of office. Just think that if our Founding Fathers had not omitted that one important detail about voter recalls the public today would be demanding a voter recall to dismiss Trump as President and vote for an entirely new candidate. And, today, the most favorable candidate to take his place would not be the Vice President but Senator Sanders.

A Presidential Matter: Immigration Reform
Not since the days of Ellis Island has the United States been faced with such a decisive shift in the demographics of American population. No longer is our population made up of European immigrants but rather an influx of Mexicans, Cubans and others coming from all over the world. The Hispanic population is now becoming one of the fastest growing ethnic groups. Today, the influx of so many crossing our borders especially children from South America and Mexico has made it imperative that new reforms must be put in place. With so many individuals that have already crossed our borders illegally in avoidance to the current limited restrictions makes a very strong case to restrict, set limitations and reform our current immigration policies. This is to enforce who and how many people will be able to come into and reside in the United States. In either case the numbers that have migrated and settled into this country continues to grow. There is also a flip side to our immigration problems. While so many seek refuge in the United States legally, and many more illegally, many American citizens are seeking refuge in other countries. And, in many cases all for a better quality of life. There again, many more are leaving the United States seeking a more affordable place to live. Today, our immigration reform needs to focus on both concerns; those coming into the US and US citizens migrating to foreign countries.

Deception and Desperate Measures
Today, there are very few people who truly understand the gravity of how serious the global economy really is. The dangers lurking behind cloaks of deception by the media and the power elite remain hidden from the general public. Millions the world over remain transfixed in hopeless desperation. Those that have said desperate times mean desperate measures are due maybe right after all. But, as so often in the past those desperate measures have only exasperated desperate times. As we continue to see, it has always been those behind the media that have always orchestrated a diversion and even a distortion away from certain elements, facts, and news. This diversion by the media is purposely directed to turn national attention away from other news. News that has far greater implications for the general public than what is actually being given the most attention by the press has made it almost impossible now to prevent further financial and economic decay not only here in the United states but around the globe.

Star Quest
Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars, let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars in other words, let's reach our true destiny. A take on Frank Sinatra's hit. But, that movie "Interstellar" points out some very real possibilities that could play out in reality sooner than we think. When Tsiolokovsky, the pioneering Russian scientist, remarked that Earth is the cradle of mankind but one cannot live in the cradle forever he understood the vital importance that man must seek out new life forms and to literally go where no man has go before. Now, as the summer winds of the worlds discontent fast approach aided by the prolific findings of Stephen Hawking about the fate of mankind we really need to put our house in order and look to the stars if we have any hope of saving the human race. And, we better do it quick. Mankind has always wondered could there actually be a better world out there? We'd have better hope so.

The Value Of Classical Music
Every modern piece of music whether it be rhythm and blues, jazz, to pop, behind the lyrics and melodies can all can be traced back to the classics. Every piece of music for centuries now has been interpreted and integrated with classical overtones. Even today's rap and rock and roll all have classical overtures that are blended in. Without the great composers like Bach, Hayden, or Mozart most of today's music probably wouldn't exist.

We Have Just Crossed Over Into The Twilight Zone
When Rod Sterling began each episode with "You unlock this door with a key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension. A dimension of sound. A dimension of sight. A dimension of mind. You are moving in a land of shadow and substance of things and ideas. You have just crossed over into the twilight zone," little did he realize that today we have the whole world in turmoil. More government reactions have only compounded the anxiety of millions, and societies are swept up in currents of unrest and tension. All of this has resulted in that millions are now feeling like they have literally crossed over into the "Twilight Zone."

The Energy Equation
In a year that has already seen it's share of misfortunes not only for countless millions of Americans but millions more the world over along comes pre-summer inflationary trends in the price we pay for just about everything we buy. We have already seen staggering increases in the price of food from dairy to beef and now we are facing more pain at the pump just to get to the store to pay those inflated prices. When is comes to the price of milk lately it would be cheaper to buy a cow. Now, as we are approaching the summer months as usual the price of gas always increases. That old saying that supply and demand dictates the price, well today it is not really the supply and demand rational so much that has set the price of gas soaring it really is corporate greed. In just the past two months the price we pay at the pump has jumped and in most places around the country many are paying more than $4.00 per gallon. Many don't realize that the price we pay at the pump does dictate the price of everything else and that includes food.

A Dystopian World
There are those who believe judgement day is close at hand. An Apocalyptic event so catastrophic that will thrust mankind either back into the Dark Ages or into the caves of the Neanderthal. With the winds of war hollowing across the Middle East where the plight of millions fleeing the stench of war has disrupted the flow of humanity sends a clear message that those who believe just may be right after all. The epic misery, hopelessness and woe are now the bedfellows of much of humanity. The life and death struggle so many face day to day is the brutal reality of the 21st century.
