The Fix
The early days of the 2020 Presidential Campaign have all the earmarks of a repeat of 2016. The fix is already in against Senator Bernie Sanders. From mega-donors of the DNC, Wall Street financiers, and the DNC have all conspired to thwart a Sanders nomination. The main stream media, which are controlled by just a few major corporations have again spun misconceptions, and erroneous assessments of what those reforms of Senator Sanders would actually do to benefit the American public. The power of the press is unprecedented. They purposely sway public opinion. And, today in Presidential politics public opinion turns into votes.

We Hold These Truths to Be Self Evident
History is an invaluable tool for if used wisely the lessons learned, chances are history won't repeat. But, too often it has been our own failure to not heed the lessons that history is supposed to teach us. Today, we find ourselves on the verge of yet another period when history is again playing out similar scenarios that have occurred more than 80 years ago. Though, not much has changed over the past 80 years. Human nature is pretty consistent. There are those who see truths in an entirely different light. Then there are those when they are faced with truths are blinded by their ignorance.

No Country for Poor People
In a world of undeniable hostility, where at any moment a terror so horrendous could spark a global catastrophe, millions the world over continue to languish hopelessly in desperation. A desperation of lack of hope and opportunity continues to cloud over so many millions of lives. Sure, humanity will no doubt continue to make scientific advances for the betterment of mankind, yet so few are able to afford the price and benefit from all these scientific advances. The question remains "will mankind, on their own volition, ever build a society where benevolence, compassion, and a true fellowship be the framework of that society?" Will all those millions now be able to enjoy all these scientific marvels of the day? As it stands today the answer is no. The world today is driven by selfishness and greed. The United States is no exception either. A country ruled by the rich and the infamous.

Is This The Best We Can Do?
Are America's best days behind us? Many people might actually agree with that statement. Then again there are those who have a more optimistic appraisal. But, one can not help ponder how we managed as a nation to get so twisted. The upside down world we live in today would have been unthinkable 60 years ago. The tragic part of it all is that we have been brainwashed by a power structure that has been able to keep the American public unaware of the consequences of what our government has been doing right under our nose.

Watershed Year
As the spring of 2019 continues, there still remains over 40 percent of the population that still can't grasp the reality of what Trump and the Republican party have done and continue to do to further divide this nation. When the United States cries out for unity they fall on the deaf ears of both political parties. Today, they continue to only deepen the divide. There is more truth to it now that both the Democratic and Republican parties are entrenched with Wall Street and all those corporate donors. The high stakes of campaign contributions fuel the divisions that exist in America today.

Remember When
We all know the signs of growing old. That old tried and true phrase "I remember when" conjures up memories of a distant past. A past that was filled with a harmonious union of fellowship, camaraderie, and yes, that new medium of television. As Archie Bunker kept singing, "Those were the days, when men were men and girls were girls." I guess each generation has their own way of expressing the "good old days." Like my father before, I too have said countless times about the "good old days." When I was young so many of my hopes and dreams laid ahead. But as the years went by I always seemed to hit a road block or two, a few detours popped up now and again, and of course there were always those wrong turns that kept me and I bet many more from achieving what we originally set out to do.

We the People
History is filled with facts that are too often ignored, deemed not credible, or otherwise dismissed. But, if we fail to recognize that certain events in the past just may have far reaching consequences but done nothing, well let's just say we had our chance but blew it. In the history of the United States, there have been documents forged out of not really necessity but purposely engineered to enhance the powers of government. To this day the American citizen remains trapped by government bureaucracy that has effectively rendered each and every one of us powerless to control our own destiny. In retracing our history, it was during the War of 1812 that the British destroyed copies of the Titles of Nobility Amendment of the Constitution. This was done because the Titles of Nobility Amendment prevented anyone who had ties to the crown of England from holding public office in the United States. When Congress reconvened after the war, they never did reinstate that Titles of Nobility Amendment, a purposeful omission that has had far reaching consequences even to this day.

Assassination, Deceit, and Deception
What does the United States stand for today? The ideals that America was founded on were never before combined ... Liberty, justice, education, and morality these four basic principles were the basis that our democracy was founded on. But, in 1871 our core principles were basically stripped away by treasonous acts by our very own Congress. There have been many scholars who question the validity of what the Act of 1871 did to the United States. Yet, there is undeniable truth that the Act of 1871 was a direct result of the money changers influence on Congress to deceive the American public. Too many of us ever since 1871 haven't realized that our own government has been a Corporation created by the Act of 1871. Reference to Art. 1, 8, cl. 17. firmly stipulates that the government of the United States turned into a Corporation where citizens rights became privileges. This act turned a nation of sovereign individuals into a nation of servitude. One has to wonder why the American public have been deceived and oblivious to what our own government has done and continues to do to the American public.

The Rise of Tyranny
Today, there is a sense of urgency that prevails in the consciousness of many. The world is moving much faster now. The tempo of life is racing so fast there is no time for rational thinking only reacting spontaneously to the many crises we face. Years ago, in a time of style and grace, life moved much slower where the tempo of life responded with a more rational and collective effort to solve whatever crisis there was.

The Epic Scale of Mortgage Fraud
Today, again like a reoccurring nightmare, the institutions of high finance are up to their skulduggery again. We have all been taught that home ownership was a right of passage for a lot of Americans. Sadly, though, that American dream has fast become a tool for our financial institutions to reap enormous profits at the expense of the homeowner. What has been hidden for years are the ways banks and mortgage companies trick the home buyer not only into adjustable interest rates, but all other forms of financing that is basically fraud committed by those banks and mortgage financiers.

2020
With the United States government in complete polarization between both parties, the wheels of progress have almost come to a complete halt. In a bygone era when just compromise was inevitable, the wheels of progress rolled right along. Sure, there were bumps along the way, but none so high as to stop the way. Now, as we head toward 2020, much has to be done, not only to secure a better future, but to make sure there is a future.

The Winter of the Setting Sun on America
With a little less than a year to go before the United States can either turn this nation around with leadership that is capable of uniting this country, or continue its present trajectory into the shadows. The rising hope of this newly elected Democratic Congress in all probability will fail the American public once again. Where there was once hope has now turned into a quagmire of opposing factions. The same can be said of the Republican party.
