If you go out for breakfast and order 2 eggs and you only get one, or if you go to buy three pails of paint and you get 2, and if you go … well, you get the picture — so if you’re living in a care home paying monthly rent for food, medication, laundry, and care, and, because of staffing levels — an industry-wide issue, we’re told — you can’t have a scheduled shower, or cannot get up at a requested time and miss an appointment, should you pay the full rent amount — even if you don’t get everything you pay for?
