Tom Bradbury: No Words Left Unspoken Part 2
When news of Tom's passing reached the Vocal Facebook groups, it reverberated for days. For some of us, it's not even begun to dim. Almost in unison, Creators flocked to their blank pages in search of healing, resolution and support. Many of you collectively sought refuge, answers and a place to place your words. I've done my very best to capture everyone's voice that had something to contribute. Doldrums
I've been told that when you have a long wait ahead of you, you should pretend you're on a platform waiting on a train. This will make the waiting somewhat easier to bear because it removes the uncertainty of the conclusion. Everyone knows that, sooner or later, a train will arrive. Why? Because that's the purpose of the platform.

Decluttering Cats to Improve Productivity
Like so many others, when March 2020 rolled around I stopped going into the office and started working from home. Let me preface by stating a big thank you to the essential workers that did not have this luxury. I work in information science with remote sensing data, so doing "remote" anything wasn't a big deal. Being able to get work done around my 3 furbabies on the other hand required some "in-the-box" thinking. None of them were 'EmPAWyee of the Month' level talent from the get-go.

Ice Water
Water disobeys the Particle Theory of Matter; rather than contracting when cold, water expands. For complicated reasons, the molecules spread out instead of huddling together despite the fact they are indeed in a crystalline lattice and vibrating in a solid state. Yes, that means that frozen water is a mineral. Anyway, the PToM, as it pertains to water was one of my favourite topics to explain when I taught children because it sets the perfect example of how much life, like people, frequently refuses to follow the common rules of engagement.
