The Mystery of Cliff House. Honorable Mention in A Knock at the Door Challenge. Content Warning.
Three firm knocks echoed through the quiet house, cutting through the rhythmic sound of the ocean below the cliffs. Even the gulls were silent in the cold, stark island landscape.

Box of Discarded Moments. Content Warning.
Just a note, this is part of a queer character's backstory. There is brief mention of Domestic Violence and Depression. Yesterday I found a box under my bed, and when I opened it up, I found old photos that I forgot I had. It seems fitting that I found them at the start of summer, most of them were from previous childhood memories when I was on summer breaks from school.

Open Letter of Resignation. First Place in I Resign From… Challenge. Content Warning.
To whom it may concern, and it should concern you, I resign. Not from a job, or a role I ever applied for, but from the unpaid, unchosen, unrelenting labor of constantly proving my humanity. The Topic of Gender-Affirming Care
Logical fallacies often tap into emotions to sway opinions. Fear-based fallacies, like the appeal to fear or the slippery slope fallacy, can create a sense of urgency or alarm by suggesting dire consequences if a particular action or viewpoint is not adopted. For example, in the context of gender-affirming care, an argument might falsely suggest that allowing such care for transgender youth will lead to irreversible harm or societal chaos, appealing to parental fears for their children's well-being.

Deconstructing My Depression. Runner-Up in Pride Under Pressure Challenge. Content Warning.
Please be warned this has very heavy topics of transphobia & suicide. I am not in the best mental state right now, as I am sure so many other people feel the same. I am sure that even if our struggles are different, many other people battle the same emotions. It can feel isolating, even though intellectually I know I am not alone in these feelings.
