An Open Letter to the Universe.
Dear Whoever is listening, I have been holding a lot of words hostage. Some that may strike a painful chord within you, others that may warm your heart. Whichever way this letter pushes you, I hope you take the time to consider why. There is a lot on my heart... some heaviness, many experiences, and an abundance of joyful and warm moments. All of which have melded together to create that which I am. I think it is important for you to understand something before we get started, you and I are a collected combination of all the people we have met, all those we have loved, and undoubtedly all we have heard and experienced.

The Collective Dream
These last two pandemic years, have brought us all a period of isolation, which allowed a period of reflection as well. We were forced to consider what would happen if someone we love, or even if we, ourselves fell ill. We were also forced to miss out on precious moments and memories with each other. We were faced with a tremendous amount of division and discord. Our children were forced to put masks on, hiding their smiles, and hindering their perception and expression of emotion. We were instructed to stand five or six feet apart, and encouraged not to hug, or over congregate. We were forced to spend a lot more time considering the things that make us feel joyful and healthy and connected to each other. In the absence of each other's embrace and connection, we realized how important it is. More importantly, we realized how important it is for our children.

Human creation is inevitably bound for error. The marriage of two humans genetics - cross breeding the good and the bad- its a game of chance . You can never be entirely certain of what physical health or mental health detriments you are passing onto your child . Yet we go forth ; passionately creating , eating those extra vegetables , praying to our higher powers , and affirming the well being of the life growing inside that mothers womb, patiently awaiting their arrival .
