My Review of "Cyrano"
Cyrano is a musical that came out in 2021. I actually didn't realize it was a musical until I started watching the movie. When they started singing I was a little weirded out. Oddly enough this movie has a lot in common with a famous movie I've seen a while ago.

Did Democracy Lead us to Value Social Media Status?
I'm going on a tirade of thoughts while reading the book European Intellectual History Since 1789 by Roland N. Stromberg. I can see how history is once again repeating itself. In my last entry about "Why it's impossible to find the truth", I had my mind blown about an ideology. This time I'm seeing parallels to today's social media.

My Review of "The Bubble"
The Bubble is Netflix's newest blockbuster comedy to start streaming on their platform. Admittedly, I didn't have too much interest in watching this movie. It looked pretty hokey and generic. My expectations for this movie weren't that high. Luckily for me it wasn't as bad of a movie as I had anticipated.

My Review of "Spider-Man: Homecoming"
Spider-Man: Homecoming is the start of the Tom Holland era of the Spider-Man franchise. I watched this movie just a little before I started writing reviews so I was startled that I didn't review this movie yet. Going back to this movie in 4k was fantastic.

My Review of "Sonic the Hedgehog 2"
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has recently come out. If you already saw the original Sonic the Hedgehog then you pretty much know what you're getting yourself into with this sequel. Still you probably have some apprehensions from watching this movie because it's a movie sequel to a popular video game franchise. Hollywood has had a bad reputation for churning out bad movie adaptations. How are they going to catch lighting in a bottle twice in a row?

My Review of "I Want You Back"
I Want You Back is Amazon Prime's latest romantic comedy for 2022. Again we come to expect certain things with this genre of movie and I think this movie knows that. They're able to play around with those expectations at times and for the most part they do it pretty well.

My Review of "Metal Lords"
Metal Lords is the latest coming of age film to come out in 2022. I was looking forward to seeing this one as I loved School of Rock. This is not School of Rock but that's not a bad thing either. They're able to find their own voice and I love them for this.

My Review of "Everything Everywhere All at Once"
Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of my most hotly anticipated movies of 2022. Today I got to watch it and for the most part I was not disappointed. It's a very high concept movie that is somehow made into a coherent digestible understanding. I don't know how they did it but the feat is miraculous.

My Review of "Moonshot"
Moonshot is the latest HBO Max movie that came out in 2022. For all intents and purposes this is quite a generic romantic comedy. They didn't even need the space aspect of the movie to complete this film. The space aspect was a nice little twist to spice things up.

My Review of "Ronny Chieng: Speakeasy"
Ronny Chieng: Speakeasy is Ronny Chieng's latest Netflix special for 2022. I've been a fan of Ronny's comedy since his last special Ronny Chieng: Asian Comedian Destroy's America. That special was methodically put together to create a very tight comedy set. This one is a big departure of that set.

My Review of "The Equalizer (2014)"
The Equalizer (2014) is the catalyst movie that started a whole franchise. This movie has gone on to a sequel and a TV show. I fell in love with this movie when it first came out, watching it again today gave me new insights as to why I liked it.
