My Review of "Wednesday: Season One"
Wednesday is a mystery comedy TV series that's exclusive to Netflix. It came out in 2022 and is based on the Addams family franchise. I wasn't too sure what to make of it but I do remember loving the old Addams family TV show and movies. Seeing as it's a Netflix exclusive it's got to be about teenagers and murder though so maybe this would be a nice twist especially since I've been on my murder mystery comedy binge lately.

My Review of "There's Something About Mary"
There's Something About Mary is a comedy that came out back in 1998. At the time this movie was revolutionary and brought out a new type of comedy to a whole new generation. Unfortunately not a lot of this humor translate well into the social climate that we live in nowadays. Still I was able to enjoy a lot of the fun that I used to have with this movie. Though I can see how this movie can be quite problematic.

My Review of "Only Murders in the Building: Season One"
Only Murders in the Building: Season One was released in 2021. I know I'm a bit late to the show for this one but at least I actually get to realize how good this show is. This is a show that's been on my radar for quite a while because it was getting some good publicity. Unfortunately I wasn't really into murder mystery shows even though this was a comedy. That is until I saw Knives Out and its sequel Glass Onion. I had to check this one out right after.

My Review of "Crazy, Stupid, Love"
Crazy, Stupid, Love came out back in 2011. It's hard to think that it's already over a decade old. A lot has changed over a decade and with that social norms have also been modified. There are a few things in this movie that will trigger a lot of people. Those that aren't into those type of things can have a good time with it though.

My Review of "Braveheart"
Braveheart is an epic adventure that was released back in 1995. Surprisingly this movie kind of stands the test of time. Being a period piece makes this a little easier to transition through different generations. Though you could not make a movie like this in today's social climate. This has a lot of real animals in the movie. It also doesn't have any CGI that I can see despite the fact that there are epic war action sequences.

My Review of "Arrival"
Arrival is a science fiction movie that came out back in 2016. Denis Villeneuve was an up an coming director hot off the heels of the smash hit Sicario. I absolutely loved Sicario so I had to see this movie right away. I was blown away when I first saw it so I was hotly anticipating to this rewatch.

My Review of "The Lego Batman Movie"
The Lego Batman Movie came out in 2017. It was at the time when the Lego movie franchises were really strong. This movie skips to the same beat as those other movies but this one is based on the Batman character from The Lego Movie. I watched this back when it first came to theatres and I was kind of unsure what I thought of it when I first saw it. Watching it again I can see more of the appeal of this movie.

My Review of "The Godfather Part II"
The Godfather Part II came out back in 1974 only 2 years after the first movie. Back in the day when I first saw this movie it was a revelation. I couldn't believe I liked this even more than the first movie when the first movie was so good! Today I put the two movies on par with one another. They're vastly different but parallel at the same time.

My Review of "The Sea Beast"
The Sea Monster is a Netflix exclusive animated feature released in 2022. It's one of their better animated features as well. There's a lot of heart and lessons in this movie that a lot of kids can talk to their parents about when this movie is over. Some of the lessons can seem a bit preachy but it's a good conversation to have with kids about.

My Review of "The Godfather"
The Godfather is a classic movie that came out back in 1972. It's an acclaimed movie that is worshipped by many. I have to admit I didn't watch it until I was in my twenties. When I did I actually did a 9 hour binge watch of the trilogy. It was that earth shattering for me. Never have I seen a movie with so much world building and believable motives than this series.

My Review of "Avatar: The Way of Water"
Avatar: The Way of Water has finally arrived in 2022. It's been thirteen years since the original movie came out. That movie was a visual spectacle so we expected nothing less with this one. I'm glad to say that it really is. The problem that I have with this movie comes from a culmination of a whole bunch of small things that added up.

My Review of "Strange World"
Strange World is Disney's latest animated feature film of 2022. They don't really do hand drawn animation anymore so it doesn't come as a shock that this one is 3d animated. It didn't do too well in the box office and that had me curious. I wasn't too sure why since a lot of their movies are quite formulaic and still do pretty well. What was it about this movie that people didn't like?
