My Review of 'The Equalizer 2'
Let's start off by letting you all know that I liked the first Equalizer movie. It was a fun movie that had a pretty cool premise. It was about an ex military guy that went into hiding in a low income neighborhood. He took a liking to people in the neighborhood, so whenever anyone messed around with his new friends in the neighborhood, he took vengeance into his own hands. It was fun, and I loved it.

My Review of 'Love, Simon'
I heard a lot about Love, Simon last year, but never got the chance to watch it. It's been available for purchase and streaming for quite some time, but now I finally got the chance to watch it. After watching it, I don't see the huge deal about this movie. It's basically a typical teen movie. I've seen a ton of teen movies and generally I enjoy them because of the innocence that comes with watching the main character's mistakes and relatable situations. This one is a little different because I've never had to go through the same ordeals as the main character, Simon.

My Review of 'Us'
Like everyone out there that's seen the movie Get Out, I highly anticipated Jordan Peele's second horror movie outing. To be honest, I didn't really expect another one to be created so soon. I thought maybe he'd want to dabble with other movie genres or do something different.

My Biased Review of the 2016 Ford Focus SE
I needed to get a car a few months ago, and I have to admit I'm a lousy car shopper. I rarely shop around, and I barely bargain with the dealer when I get there. When car dealers see me come in they probably think to themselves, "whoa here's a whale ready to be harpooned." When I bought the Ford Focus from the dealer it wasn't any different.

My Review of 'Kindergarten Cop'
Kindergarten Cop was recently added to Netflix and my girlfriend and I were looking for something to watch. Not too long ago we watched some of her old favorites, and I know she likes family-friendly movies, so I suggested Kindergarten Cop. I remembered liking it back in the day and it's time for me to show her some of the family fun movies that I liked in the past. It's probably been over a decade since I've seen the movie and she hasn't seen it ever. What a good recipe for a review.

My Review of 'The Dirt'
There's been this huge surge of biographies of famous bands and singers lately. Last year's Bohemian Rhapsody even won awards. There's a few more coming down the pipeline. I guess Netflix saw this trend starting to pop off so they created their own called The Dirt.

Asking Someone About Their Ancestry
I recently had a conversation with a friend that had come back to Canada from working overseas. I had asked him what are some differences that he noticed when he came back to Canada after being away from the country so long. He replied that Canadians are too sensitive when it comes to asking about our backgrounds, especially when they look foreign. I looked back in curiosity. Please elaborate for me.

My Review of the Second Half of Season Five of 'Arrested Development'
The last half of Arrested Development has finally come out on Netflix. It took them a long enough time to get this done. I know that there's been a lot of complaints about the seasons, after the show was taken off the air, and placed on Netflix. I didn't mind them that much, but there definitely was something weird about them.

My Review of the Movie 'Girl'
If there is any movie that I can kind of compare this movie to, I would have to say it follows a similar path to the movie 127 Hours. You know what's going to happen, and they go on in circles about it, and then when it actually happens, you feel nauseated anyway. I had this same sort of feel in the movie Girl.

My Review of 'Lucy'
I've wanted to watch the movie Lucy for quite some time and it's been out for ages. I just never got the chance to. I believe it was on Netflix soon after it had exited theaters. I remember being very excited about that and put it on my watch list. Sadly, I never had the opportunity to watch it and it was removed from Netflix not too long after. Recently, it's been placed back into the Netflix rotation and I decided I wasn't going to wait for it to be removed again.

My Review of 'The Upside'
The Upside has been out for quite some time so it's even surprising to me that it took me this long to watch it since I was a fan of the original French version called Intouchables. I know a lot of people harping on this movie because it's a remake of a great French movie. It really is a good movie because I watched it in French and I really enjoyed it. This is why I was curious about how Hollywood would translate this movie for an American audience.

The Future of How We Price Items for Sale
Shopping in North America, and I guess the rest of the world, can be confusing sometimes. When we see shop prices we don't think much of them. Stores already have tactics to make us all believe that prices are lower than they really are. We've all heard the reasons why prices end with the number nine. We know stores play psychological tricks on us. We have all accepted this, and I'm okay with that, but when you get to the counter it's not even that marked price! None of us ever complain about this and I find that extremely unfortunate.
