My Review of 'Life of the Party'
I remember back when I saw the trailer for the movie, Life of the Party. It looked like your stereotypical Melissa McCarthy movie. She generally does movies where she plays a mundane middle aged lady with low self confidence that rediscovers herself to become a confident woman.

My Review of 'Searching'
I've been waiting to watch Searching for a while. The movie captured my attention with the trailer. It was obvious that it was going to be a thriller movie, and because of that, I knew there was going to be a twist at the end. It seems to be a rule that there has to be a twist at the end of every thriller out there for it to be a proper thriller. I just wasn't sure what the twist was going to be, and that's part of the fun of these movies.

My Review of 'Leaving Neverland'
Finding Neverland is a documentary that I didn't think I'd see myself watching, but a co-worker highly recommended the film. I didn't know what to think of it as Michael Jackson's always been in the media about these alleged allegations. My co-worker said that it was really well done and would make me question Michael Jackson's innocence.

My Review of 'Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown'
I didn't get into Ace Combat until I discovered Ace Combat 4 on the PlayStation 2. That game had me hooked. It had a nice variety of missions and the gradual difficulty was just about right. I had a great sense of satisfaction when I finally completed that final mission.

Dealing with Difficult Co-workers
I've always heard about dealing with difficult people in the workplace, and I have had to deal with people that I thought were difficult, but never in my life have I ever dealt with someone that I thought had something totally against me. This was an entirely new experience for me. I've been lucky enough to work with people throughout my lifetime that have been pleasant.

My Review of 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Episode 1
One of the most anticipated nights of 2019 has finally occurred. The season premiere of the final season of Game of Thrones has arrived. There were so many rumors and theories in the past year that it's hard to tell what was going to happen. One thing is for sure, we know that this is going to be a shortened season much like season seven. This means that the show has to cram a lot more into the shorter season. Also, they have more budget for epic events.

My Review of 'Paddington 2'
Paddington 2 came out last year and quite honestly, I didn't expect a sequel to Paddington. The first movie was a surprise hit. I was one of the doubters thinking that it wouldn't succeed, but after I watched it, I understood why it did so well. It was a self contained origin story of Paddington the bear. It had tons of heart, charisma, and joy spread throughout the movie. I didn't think that they'd be able to capture the spirit of the first movie because the first movie had such a sense of innocence that pulled in the audience.

My Review of 'Shazam'
Shazam is an interesting take on the comic book movie genre. I know I was really excited about it when I first saw a trailer of the movie last year. It seemed like DC was going into a totally different direction of where they had been going with the dark Justice League series. The trailer looked campy and fun and the movie, for the most part, lived up to the high expectations.

My Review of "Wonder"
I didn't really hear much about the movie, Wonder, when it first came out. I guess it's a lower budget movie with little money for advertising. There was barely any press, so it kind of slipped under the radar for me. Watching this movie blind was kind of refreshing, because I let the movie tell me what it's about and not have my own preconceived notion of how it will play out.

My Review of 'Upgrade'
Upgrade is a movie that's been talked about by a lot of reviewers last year. They were ranting and raving about how this movie was the sci-fi movie of 2018. I didn't hear much about it because it's an independent low budget movie so they didn't have too much advertising for it. Sometimes word of mouth works in the industry. Eventually I caught wind of the reviews and I finally got a chance to check it out.
