Cry of An African Girl Child
Can you imagine what life could be like if you were rejected even before birth? Yes, you heard me right. An African girl surrounded with a million aunties and uncles but always feel lonely. Boys and girls enjoyed running and playing hide and seek under bright sunshine and bright moonlight. This is typically what life looks like to other girls who have opportunities of being nurtured and cared for by adults around them. Poverty and primitive cultural beliefs turn to stealing life from other girls who are being sent off to marriage too soon.

BB was driving home from work, very tired from working a 16 hours shift. As she was driving late in the night heading home, the thought of my baby brother flashed through my mind, and suddenly began crying. My eyes became blurred from tears, and my memory became fluid. It had been a month since we burry my aunt, at age 53 from breast cancer. Luckily I was driving in such a late night that there were only few vehicles went by. My baby brother had always been the careful one, the one who worried about hir siblings well being. The one who would wake up early on Saturday mornings and wash his siblings cloths. The one who would relieve the house maid from her duties to take a rest on Saturday while he spent time in the kitchen to make breakfast for everyone at home. His gentleness and selflessness was one of a kind. yet life did not smile on him, he vanished in thin air.

Gone Too Soon
Oh DEATH who are you? I HATE YOU. You visited me when I wasn't READY. Never got a chance to say goodbye. WHY. I hope someday this whole concept OF DEATH AND DYING will make moresense to me/us. Sometimes I feel there was a sign, signaling our separation. If really there were signs, then I must admit that I failed to see the signal light. I zoomed pass the stop sign before realizing that I beat the light. My baby brother, permit me tell you that I must have failed seeing the signals you showed me. Yes, looking back to our last days in this planet EARTH, I can begin to see some traces of the RED light signals you projected. I remember one of them which sounded so strange coming from you.

Potential Benefits of Drinking Lemon Water Daily
Drinking lemon water every morning for 30 days is a popular health trend, but does it actually work? I have two family member who have been practicing this for a very long time. It so happened that these two family members have managed to maintain a good shape. With such good results, I was forced to try it for some time. It actually worked for me, helping me to shred some pounce after eight months of drinking lemon water. My husband just started doing it. Hope we see some results soon. Let’s break it down based on potential benefits and what you might expect from such life style change.

Gone Too Soon
Imagine you wake up one Friday morning planning to have a wonderful weekend with a love one, only to receive the sad news that this person passed on last night. What would you do? Yes, this lines may sound familiar to many, especially for mid age adults. At this stage in life, people start loosing parents, siblings, parents in-law, friends, uncles and aunties. For some people it could be a spouse, a partner, and you name it. Such a loss could also be for a dearly beloved pet (a dog, a cat, ...) who brings joy to the family. Love is Love, and it is hard to let go. It is at this point where I say to myself, CRY, SHOUT IT OUT, TAKE A VACCATION, OR DO WHATEVER YOU ENJOY DOING. In all these, remember that you still have other people whose livelihood depends on you.

Gone Too Soon
It feels good to love and know that you are loved. Whenever we are in love, our emotion, affection, and attraction to the one we are in love with, are difficult to control. Love could be that of a brother, sister, mother father, and affection of other relatives and friends depending on the cultural background we come from. As an African female child, I grew up in various plantation camps, as my mother had to go on transfer almost every other year. This nomadic lifestyle made it difficult for us to make lifelong friends. My siblings became my best friends and lovers.
