The Difference at Work
Earlier this year I changed my job. From marketing a product to marketing an events portfolio. Stepping from behind the desk to be beholden to exhibitors and visitors alike. Removing the safety net and offering an injection of fear into my day.

A Teddy Bear Tale
Depending on who you are and where you are reading this, you will either jump for joy at the thought of a Teddy Bear or run for the hills. My wife and I have more than 200 Teddy Bears on a ratio of 80/20. She has the lion's share, but we love our soft friends so much that we have given them all names and personalities.

Halloween
Growing up this was always seen as the 'American thing' but now I get the sense that perception has rapidly changed. From irritation to a much-loved childhood engagement. It is certainly something that I never engaged in growing up but I get the sense that our children will be pulled into it. I fully intend to eat most of the sweets!

A well-deserved break to celebrate my marriage. We all need a break in life. Whether that is simply for a weekend or for a more prolonged period, we need to take a step away at times. To smell the fresh air and acknowledge that we are human. To shut down our screens and admit that we are not robots and yearn for tangible experiences.

The Comfort of a Will
When you say to someone that you are considering writing a Will, they become nervous. They do not wish to talk about it as it is deemed to be too morbid and my wife is very much in that train of thought. She hates talking about writing a Will as she considers it to be too morbid.
