The Little Prince
I’ve always enjoyed books. In elementary school there was a reading program in which we could earn points based on the number of books read. Then win rewards based on the points you gained from completing each book. I was an avid reader and used this as a sort of super power to attain items that I could not afford with money. I had a fifth grade math teacher who always came off as strict and reserved, a person who had very little patience for such things as children. So I was very surprised when she noticed my love of books and recommended "The Little Prince". This book would become a subconscious staple for me throughout my life. It forced me to ask myself questions many people aren't faced with until their adulthood. The story has taken on new meaning for each phase of my journey, giving me new understanding and hope.

Does anyone have it figured out?
I'm 33, I'm 33, I'm 33 and I thought by this age I would have this thing called life completely figured out. When I saw this challenge I automatically felt triggered because the truth is there are still days that I feel like a misfit, a fish out of water. It’s funny how a simple question can force you to reflect in ways that you were able to avoid before. Some days I visualize myself broadcasting the details of my life from an old radio system that's barely reaching any audience. Sending out a SOS hoping for a response from someone that reflects me. Some days I feel so out of place it hurts to watch the movies where the odd kids find each other and discover love. I find myself watching the credits thinking "God must have forgotten to create someone for me."

The Voiceless
The Voiceless The murder of 11 women all found within the same vicinity seemed like an unlikely horror movie. A monstrosity that would not be possible in modern time due to current laws and updated police technology. But this was no movie and the horrors that took place on Imperial Avenue on Cleveland’s east side were all too real.
