As soon as the PDF was converted to a shareable link, I think I audibly screamed, "FINALLY!" If you don't remember from the RE:SURGENCE poems, at the bottom of each one, I kept promising that once everything was published, I would be sharing a free, fully formatted PDF for anyone to read or print out.

THE LOW DOWN I'm sure if you've been on Vocal in the last 24 hours you've become aware of the new "exclusive stories" feature that the Vocal team has launched on the site. It's something the community has been asking for for years: an update on the "pledges" feature that had little to no value for readers, nor the writers besides a very kind and generous monthly tip.

It's hard to find the words to describe the feelings I experience whenever I visit Vocal Media. Awe, I think, could be a close descriptor; awe for the people who share their passions on this website every single day, and awe for those same people who go out of their way to bring encouragement and heartfelt engagement to another writer's doorstep.
