My Cat
On the theme of love, I thought to write about our cat that lives in my parent’s house. I used to wonder if animals had souls or even intelligence. Some people say that they do not, but I believe that they do. They also do seem to understand us to some extent, although they may not be able to articulate what they understand.

What Makes Us Believe In God
I thought to share this story because people often ask me to tell them my story of how I came to believe and about religious conversion because I converted to Islam as a teenager. I thought that I would share how I came to believe in God in this article and another time tell the story about how I came to convert to Islam.

Talbina: A Barley Porridge Recipe
Barley is a whole grain that is similar but at the same time different from wheat. In their raw state, barley grains are hard, and sometimes they are peeled to create pearl barley. Hulled barley is the name for it in its whole state that contains the bran and hull. Pearl barley is lacking the hull and bran, so is more refined. Bread can be made from the flour of ground barley.

Turmeric Milk Or Yogurt Beverage
Turmeric is a type of spice similar to ginger, and I think that most people know that it is beneficial for health. It is said to be anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and anti-bacterial and can reduce digestion-related issues such as irritable bowel syndrome and even more sinister issues such as parasites. Turmeric is a warming herb and so is suitable for cold diseases or problems. Since it gets rid of inflammation and encourages circulation, it is useful for those looking to lose some weight or as part of a detox. This will also help you to improve your energy levels.
