The Photograph That Never Was
The attic smelled of dust, old wood, and a kind of forgotten grief. Amelia hated coming up here. Her grandmother’s death had left her the estate—a rotting house that leaned into the wind like a tired old man—and she was determined to catalogue its contents before selling.

Memories
Memories. Who doesn’t know what memories are? But curiously asking - how would you define them? I would say, they are ones lived moments. For some are good ones. Some are not-so-good ones. Some are lost along the way. Memories are basically every moment lived by a person. Any living beings. It can be dogs, cats, us-humans or hell even dolphins have memories. I am sure it even includes plants and trees. Memories are something that people look up to. Yeah, well. We are humans, with a clear mind of our own - We tend to do a lot of thinking when it comes to things. Well coming back, most people prefer or choose to live in the moment. Sometimes, people aren’t really particular about the little things in their lives. Just that which feels right in that moment of time. I suppose, it must feel great to do things in the moment. I mean, I am simply wondering because I feel in some ways I haven't really lived my life that way. To live momentarily. I'm not saying to live every second of the day. But at least once perhaps, if not twice. (Laughing). I don't really know, I'm just speculating here. Maybe to live in the moment, you should be able to feel or see things greatly. Be more understanding. Be more poetic.

Rise Beyond the Limits
I wasn’t born into comfort or convenience. I was born into survival. In a small, dusty town where the roads had more potholes than promises, dreams were not something people chased—they were things people surrendered. We lived in a two-room house with no ceiling fan in the summer and no heater in the winter. The kind of house where rain meant buckets on the floor, and every creaking noise at night sounded like a prayer for the roof to hold on a little longer.

Two Styles, Two Stories: Model vs. Family Photography
Photography is a powerful form of storytelling—but not all stories are told the same way. As a photographer who’s captured everything from fashion-forward model shoots to joy-filled family beach sessions, I’ve come to appreciate the unique energy and purpose each type of session holds. While model and family photography both demand technical skill, creativity, and connection, the Kauai photographer, expectations, and outcomes vary greatly. Let’s take a closer look at how these two styles differ—and what makes each one meaningful in its own way.
