I think that paintings depicting animals are very creative and imaginative. This is a short series about all kinds of animal paintings with a link to each given below. It all started with Animals on Canvas, then Wild Animals, Lions, and Horses on Canvas. After this article, there will be paintings depicting birds.

For a long part of human history cattle have been a part of the picture. There are cave paintings from back to 40,000 years standing in Borneo representing depictions of humans and cattle.

Flemish artist Peter Paul Rubens was one of the most famous members of the Baroque Period. He lived during the 16th and 17th centuries when farming and cattle were staples of communities across Europe. He created this painting depicting the countryside bordered by mature trees. People are shown working alongside their cattle as a large, colorful rainbow stretches across the sky.

This painting is famous for being a classic Impressionist painting that is one of the rarest Gogh paintings created.

French artist Jean-Francois Millet is one of the most well-known painters of the Realism era in 19th-century Europe. Most of his paintings featured landscape scenes and focused on farming.
