Welcoming new board members at the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan

We are happy to announce the appointment of two exceptional individuals to our board of directors at the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan. Monoa Stella, a seasoned management practitioner, and Mawa Minga, a dynamic business development consultant, will be joining us for a one-year term from January 2025 to January 2026.

As we strive to achieve our mission of uplifting communities for a better life and fostering sustainable development in South Sudan, the expertise and perspectives that both Monoa and Mawa bring to our board will be invaluable. With their rich backgrounds in management and business development, they will enhance our strategic direction and support our ongoing projects.

Monoa Stella has spent years honing her skills in management practices and is dedicated to fostering organizational growth and efficiency. Her experience will undoubtedly help guide our efforts to maximize our impact on the communities we serve.

Mawa Minga, with his extensive knowledge of business development, is eager to contribute to our goals by exploring new opportunities and partnerships that align with our mission. His insights will be crucial in driving innovation and ensuring that we remain adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.

With the addition of Monoa and Mawa, our board now comprises ten dedicated members, including six existing board members who have continually demonstrated a commitment to our cause. Together, we aim to strengthen our governance and enhance our ability to address the challenges facing South Sudan.

We extend a warm welcome to Monoa Stella and Mawa Minga and look forward to their contributions to the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan. Join us in embracing this new chapter as we continue our journey towards a new dawn.

1. Monoa Stella Koboji | Board Member

Monoa Stella Koboji is known for her multicultural perspective and strong analytical skills, she thrives in dynamic environments as an Administration, Finance, and Procurement Officer. With a solid background in training women in cooperative governance and youth in business management, she combines leadership with hands-on experience. A self-motivated team player, MONOA is proficient in various computer applications and communicates effectively in English, Bari, and Juba Arabic. Her dedication to integrity and excellence positions her as a valuable asset in any professional setting. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration specializing in Entrepreneurship from Bugema University, Uganda and is presently pursuing a master's degree in management studies at Nkumba University.

2. Mawa Minga | Board Member

Mawa Minga is a dynamic and multi-talented professional with a diverse background as a Writer, Poet, and Musician. A graduate of Computer Information Systems. Professionally, Mawa is a Business development and start-up management consultant (for both for-profit and non-profit) and media personnel. As a passionate social activist, he advocates for human rights, environmental sustainability, and the arts for social change. Additionally, he is a dedicated mental health advocate and an experienced research specialist, teacher and trainer specializing in education, arts, character control, and emotional intelligence.
