Recently, I challenged other Vocal creators to write me stories with Twisted Endings. I wanted them to surprise me with good twists. You can read about the challenge in the link below.
I was surprised and pleased with the amount of submissions I received. These are outstanding stories that are each very well written with creativity, and picking three out of all the tales was tough for me to do. A couple of these tales even made Top Story, which was amazing to see.
Below are all the story submissions, with the winners listed first, and the runner-ups listed randomly.

1st Place:
Novel Allen's Entry was by far my favorite. The entry had the right amount of suspense leading up to a twist that I did not seen coming. It's a great psychological/horror tale that I fully believe deserves 1st Place. You can read their entry below:
2nd Place:
JBaz Challenge entry was a perfectly twisted sci-fi. You won't see the surprise ending coming until the very end. It is a thoroughly enjoyable story. You can read their entry in the link below:
3rd Place entry:
Matthew Fromm's entry is a psychological/thriller. The ending to this one packs a punch. This is a must-read for any on Vocal. You can read his entry in the link below:

Runner-up Entrys (in no particular order):
Paul Stewart's Challenge entry is a psychological/horror story. It's terrifying, with a great twist at the end. You can read his entry in the link below:
Lamar Wiggins' Challenge entry was a mystery/thriller. It was a gripping storyline that would get your heart pumping. The story had a happy ending, to start off so thrilling. You can read his entry in the link below:
Hannah Moore's entry is a Dark Fantasy. The twist at the end showed just enough light to keep it from being a horror. She was awarded a Top Story for this piece, and I also consider it a must-read for all on Vocal. You can read her entry in the link below:
Mike Singleton - Mikeydred wrote two sci-fi mysteries for the challenge. The first one, The Undulating Field, made a Top Story. Both stories are great reads, and I encourage you to read them. You can read his entries in the links below:
Alivia Varvel wrote a Sci-fi entry for the challenge. It is extremely tense and well-written. I highly suggest the Vocal community reads her entry, too. You can read her entry in the link below:
Rick Henry Christopher submitted a two-parter previously written. It is a Psychological Thriller. It will keep you wondering till the end what is happening to the poor character. It's a must-read for everyone. You can read his entries in the links below:
