Thank you everyone who spared a moment to wish Jamaica well with me during the storm.

May you all be blessed.

Top Story - October 2025

A lighthouse stands firm as the storm parts, golden light breaks through, and hands clasp in solidarity.

Gratitude After the Tempest

Through thunder’s roar, through shadowed skies,

You helped to hold the line when hope ran thin.

You held a light - A lighthouse in the wildest tide,

You helped to keep the flame alive within.

Now calm returns, the winds have ceased,

And in this quiet, I speak your name -

With thanks as deep as ocean’s peace,

For lending your voice through fear and flame

You all took the time to care. You all offered support through a gracious gesture which meant more than you know.

On behalf of all those whose lives were spared. Please accept these words of thanks.

PK Colleran - Tiffany Gordon - Dharrsheena RS - D/ALEXANDRA PORTER - Antoni De'Leon - Lamar Wiggins - Sonia Heidi Unruh - Sam Spenilli - Mike Singleton 💜 Mikeydred, the lovely Mariann Carroll and Stephanie Hoogstad.

May abundant blessings flow continuously trough your hearts, minds and pleasant days.

Thank you.

Lovely poem Novel :) I was worried Melissa’s impact would result in far more devastation. I know there’s still a need to rebuild. I saw a video last night of a man waving a Jamaican flag in the middle of the gusting winds and rain. It was an impressive symbol of resilience :)

  • Glad that everyone is safe.A beautiful poem, Novel.
