The Broken Clock
I am a broken clock. I see the other clocks always proudly displaying what time it is. With confidence, and unwavering belief in self, they boldly state that it is 8:15. I am sat here shamefully mumbling that it is 2:47. I know that it isn't 2:47. I have no idea why I said it's 2:47. I have regrets that I've said it's 2:47. I have hurt others with my misinformation. The man is late for work. The woman forgets a call with her sick mother. The child wakes up early and unrested. The couple misses their flight. Despite this, I continue on. Minute after minute. Hour after hour. Relentlessly letting the world know that it is 2:47. I will not stop. I will not yield. I will not allow myself to take the time to discover the true time. I will simply be wrong, with every choice I make.

From Ashes to Words
It goes back to 1985. I was just a young student in class when life felt stable, even promising. My father held a respectable job in the public sector, and we owned a sizeable chunk of agricultural land. Our family was well-off, and I remember the gentle rhythm of rural life—simple yet fulfilling. There was no hint of what storm would come crashing down on our peaceful world.

The sorrow of a nation.
The Nakba of 1948: The Tragedy of a Nation There are some dates in history that mark not just an event, but the shattering of a nation’s entire existence, identity, hopes, aspirations, and dreams. For Palestinians, May 15, 1948, is just such a day—the beginning of a national catastrophe, which they call “an-Nakba,” meaning “the Catastrophe.” On this day, a new state called “Israel” was born on the world map, and with it, an ancient land of national identity was destroyed.

"Faith written in Sumaiya's blood"
The evening light had faded in the streets of Mecca. There was dust and silence in the air. But an elderly woman was standing huddled against the wall of a house—something greater than fear in her eyes—indignation, protest, and the glow of faith. Her name was Sumaiya bint Khayyat, the first female martyr in the history of Islam.

It is almost impossible for any human creation to say.
A verse from Surah At-Tariq that carries an exceptional scientific hint at the mystery of human creation. In verses 5 to 7 of Surah At-Tariq, Allah says: “Let man consider what he is created from. He is created from a flowing water, which comes forth from between the back and the front.” The key words used in Arabic are “ماءٍ دافقٍ” (flowing water) and “الصُّّْبِ وَالتََّائِبِ” (from between the loins and the sternum). A scientific analysis of this verse takes us to an astonishing level of human reproductive biology that is almost impossible for any human writing from 1400 years ago.

Behind the mask of the image of freedom lies a history of bloody imperialism.
United States: A bloody history of imperialism behind the mask of the statue of freedom The United States has established itself as a world leader in human rights, freedom, democracy, and the rule of law. The Statue of Liberty in New York is a symbol of that great ideal that calls out to the whole world—Come, be free, wake up. But the bloody history, oppressive policies, hypocrisy, and imperialist aggression that lie behind this call still escapes the eyes of many people. Because the United States has constructed its mask so cleverly, and has captured the media worldwide, many forget about their own dark lives under that false light.

Islam spread by the sword - truth or propaganda myth?
The Allegation: “Islam Spread by the Sword”—Truth or Propaganda? --- A common complaint in the vast literature of history and religion is: “Islam spread by the sword, that is, by force and coercion.” This statement is not only made by ordinary atheists or Islamophobes, but also by many Western historians, media analysts, and even some well-known Muslim figures. This allegation attempts to portray Islam as a repressive, terrorist ideology, as if it were founded not on the basis of reason, heart, or humanity—but only on the basis of fear and bloodshed.
