ViM's Bulletin Board
We've been busy behind the scenes at ViM. Running here and there. Signing papers for this place, taking pictures for that one. Packing bags and loading boxes. While I'm preparing for a move into a new-to-me house on the other side of town, Celia and River are dealing with the stress of traveling to a different country. Plus the animals. Both of us, ViM admins, were blessed with a love for our furbabies, so of course, we have to include them in our plans.

I Won the Global Recognition Award – Here's What It Means to Me. AI-Generated.
A few months ago, I was just a young girl with a pen, a blank page, and dreams louder than the world around me. Today, I’m proud to say that I’ve been awarded the Global Recognition Award — and I’m still letting that sink in.

Peace in War Clothing: A Streetwear Brand with a Message
Peace in War Clothing is not just a fashion label — it’s a cultural movement built on contrast, truth, and identity. Inspired by the duality of life — peace and chaos, love and hate, light and dark — the brand tells a story of modern survival. Through bold graphics, minimal yet powerful statements, and high-quality streetwear pieces, Peace in War captures what it means to be young, aware, and expressive in today's world.

Peace in War Clothing – A Movement Through Fashion
Peace in War Clothing is more than a fashion brand—it's a cultural expression, a contradiction turned into art, and a powerful voice wrapped in streetwear. Blending symbolism, rebellion, and unity into every stitch, Peace in War stands out not just for its aesthetic appeal but for its message. Born from the struggle between chaos and calm, the brand has crafted a unique identity rooted in duality and purpose. It captures the energy of urban youth, the angst of rebellion, and the hope for better days—all through fashion.

Get Paid to Write! (Not Really, but I hope this title tricks you into paying me…)
This website has allowed me to express parts of myself and explore a voice I didn’t know I had. Honestly, that alone feels like cheating. Like I found a loophole where oversharing counts as “content.” I was really intrigued by the notion of writers supporting writers.

Speak Softly and Leave the Stick. Top Story - August 2025.
As all of us are aware, AI-generated content is a massive thorn in the heels of genuine authors and web platforms alike. It's posted on social media sites, blogs, and even printed media. One of our Vocal members, Judey Kalchik, has done a ton of legwork on this issue (and many others) and has already given plenty of tips on how to detect it. You can find her articles on it here. For now, I'd like to focus on what we should do when we think we've spotted AI being used.

James & Oneg’s Summer Writing Extrav-again-AGAIN-za!
You might be wondering, "what's with the pineapples again, guys?" Well, let me tell you, pineapple is the only fruit that Oneg is not sick of. Also, they look absolutely fabulous adorned in glassware. If you disagree, see yourself out.
