The Vocal Readers
Introduction Yesterday I got a new subscriber, a fellow Novocastrian (I am just by relocation, not by birth, by birth I am a Prestonian). I thin I may know her name, though she is probably a friend of a friend although her Vocal profile is fairly detailed (though not as detailed as mine which has all my social media IDs there)

What Jane Austen Teaches Us About Writing
It may be an exaggeration to say that I am the writer I am today because of Jane Austen. I first fell in love with her writing in high school. I had never been assigned to read any of her work but after finding it in the library I decided to give it a read.

Overcooked slice of bread
When I was young, I recall a night when my mom arrived home tired after a long day at work. During dinner, she served some slices of bread that were as black as coal. Meanwhile, my dad simply enjoyed his cake and asked me about school, as he did every day. Although I can't recall my response, I do remember overhearing my mom apologize to him for burning the bread. To my surprise, my dad reassured her by saying, "Honey, I like burnt bread." Later that evening, I approached my father to inquire if he genuinely enjoyed burnt bread. He responded, "Your mother worked hard all day and was exhausted. A burnt slice of bread won't harm anyone, but you know what can harm someone? Severe criticisms and reproaches." He added, "Life is filled with imperfections, including imperfect people like Dad, who falls short in many ways, such as forgetting birthdays and anniversaries." Through the years, I've learned to embrace the flaws of others and choose to appreciate their uniqueness.

A Writer's Warning to His Readers
When a person I know discovers I am a writer and informs me that they would like to read some of my stuff I am generally happy to point them in the direction of a few things I think they might find of interest. Depending on the person I may also give them one or more warnings about the content. Below you will find a list of some of those warnings and contraindications (to use drug industry parlance). I believe this may very well become the first thing I point any new reader to prior to reading anything else. It may save them and me from some serious future heartache.

Looking at US-Israeli Relations. Content Warning.
Resources from liabilities, resources from liabilities; Israel has been a nearby yet troublesome partner for the US for quite a long time. The new Gaza war has brought to the front a few well-established issues between the two nations.

The lifestyle of Introverts. Top Story - April 2024.
I am an introvert and in my earlier years, I often felt that perhaps I should have tried to be more extroverted, that in order to fit in, I needed to be like everyone else. My discomfort around people made people either uncomfortable, facetious or puzzled. This then made me feel as if my natural way of being was not conducive to a successful or a fulfilling life—But the implication there is that being introverted is a problem that needs to be solved, which can sometimes be all too convincing in a world that seems to reward self-promotion over quiet reflection.

"How To Find The Time To Write"
I have always wanted to be a writer. Since I was a little girl and got my first journal from my dad at Barnes and Nobles. We were out for the day, (I couldn't have been more then eleven) and we stopped into the bookstore. This was my very first time in this store and let me tell you. The feeling was magical to me, and to this day it still is. It was my father's birthday, and something had made me want to check that store out.

Making broad admittance to answers for inborn coronary illness patients: Why inclusion for fundamental treatments matters. Content Warning.
Across the US, more than 40,000 babies are brought into the world with inborn coronary illness (CHD) consistently, the most widely recognized kind of birth imperfection in the U.S.1 Roughly 1.6 million individuals live with the disease2, which includes anomalies, or deformities of the heart that create before birth. While quick clinical treatment is ordinarily required, by and large, the main choice was an open-heart medical procedure. Presently, because of clinical development and a new repayment achievement, another option, an insignificantly intrusive choice is accessible and reachable.
