How To Find Yourself
Finding Yourself as a Writer: A Personal Odyssey Writing is an art, a craft, and, for many, a way of life. Yet, for those embarking on this journey, the process of finding ourselves as a writer can feel difficult to find-elusive so-to-say. What does it mean to “find yourself”? For us, as writers, it means understanding your voice, discovering your purpose, and embracing the unique perspective you bring to your words. This can be in a novel, poem, or article on a platform such as this one. This process is neither straightforward nor quick; it is a path of self-discovery, trial and error, and continuous growth that can get frustrating and make anyone discouraged. But keep at it. It’ll come.

I wasn’t just a parent they knew me. For years, I did everything in my power to stay connected with the school. I attended meetings, responded promptly to every call or email, and worked with my son to improve his school experience.

I have always wanted to be a writer. Since I was a little girl and got my first journal from my dad at Barnes and Nobles. We were out for the day, (I couldn't have been more then eleven) and we stopped into the bookstore. This was my very first time in this store and let me tell you. The feeling was magical to me, and to this day it still is. It was my father's birthday, and something had made me want to check that store out.

Reasons For Reading
As The New Kid Everyone has their own reason for reading. Some to study, some for leisure, and so on. But as the “new kid” growing up; Always in a new school with new people who knew everyone and where no one knew me. I turned to the characters in my favorite books. On the bus rides to and from school were typically the worst in every way, shape and form. From bullying to loneliness to pure fear at some points. Characters like Hermonie Granger, Jace Wayland etc. were the ones who kept the quiet not so deafening. Yet while I might not have been one of those kids whose parents tucked them in with a good story or adventure to drift off to, I did know how to emphasize my independence and go on those adventures solo.
