Gregory Stock, Ph.D. The Book of Questions writing prompts - Is it easy for you to accept help when you need it? Is it easy to ask for help?

No, it is not easy to accept help, and it is not easy to ask for help.

My husband is whom I can ask for help in my life now. I prefer self-help.

Self-help consists of the right reading material and the people speaking

at meetings that I attend. That is where I can find the help I am seeking.

I am truly better. I can allow another to help me find a good prompt

It is when I'm busy and don't have time to write when I'm swamped

that I need a prompt. My thoughts are elsewhere, like today

when my event planning meeting is today and I am too busy on this day.

Gregory Stock, Ph.D. The Book of Questions writing prompts - If you were helping to raise money for a charity and someone agreed to make a large contribution if you would perform at the upcoming fund-raising show, would you? If so, what would you like to perform? Assume the show would have an audience of about 1,000.

Oh my, it would depend on how much time I had. If it's tomorrow, I have some spoken word ready to go or a rapping granny thing. If there were more time, I would write a very short play and perform that.

Then again it depends on the crowd. If it is the regular group I speak to, it would depend on how much time I have. I would do my regular 3 exercises, some laughter yoga and offer a couple stories and a joke or two.

Gregory Stock, Ph.D. The Book of Questions writing prompts - Would you like to be famous? In what way?

Maybe a best-selling book. Get on the ten best books list of the New York Times, or maybe on Oprah's book club list.

You should enter your rap song in the harmonic verse challenge. I entered three of mine and enjoyed the challenge of something different. 😊😊

  • I have severe anxiety and stage fright so I could never perform in front of people. You are so amazing!

  • I love question and answer things like this. It gives me insight to the person answering the questions and makes me feel like I know you just a little bit better. I enjoyed reading this Denise. You did a great job with it.
