My Writing Online Goals for September 2025

There have been so many surprising achievements for the month of August. Despite several failures, I could not believe the results I received toward the end of the month. I was completely unexpected, and I have no idea how to feel when it comes to some of these goals I achieved!

Blogger: I reached 4,515 views during August. Even though I didn't reach my goal of hitting 5,000 views, at least I made it halfway! I didn't post as much for August, but it was kind of a slow month toward the end. I did much better in July, and that was because I barely posted like I did with last month. 

Medium & Vocal Media: I made a total of $10.59 from both platforms. I guess it wasn't a good month for my online writing, but at least I reached double digits lol. I made $4.58 from Medium, and $6.01 from Vocal Media.

Benable: I made about $4.73 from August. I was pretty surprised that I made more than my $3 goal. This platform can be pretty tough, so I'm pretty happy with this win!

Substack: I've decided to give up on this platform. I'd rather stick with the other online platforms that I adore. 

YouTube: I earned 23 more subscribers! I am now at 1,145! I did accidentally make the mistake of mentioning that I had reached 1,222 last time, but it was a typo. I didn't hit my goal of 1,300, but at least I got some subscribers for last month! 

TikTok: I think this is the biggest shock I have gotten so far in August. Toward the end of the month, I reached 9,034 followers! Even though I didn't hit the 10,000 mark, at least I reached 9,000! I earned about 310 followers from last month! 

Threads: I'm stuck at 66 followers, but that was my fault. I haven't been posting as much, because I keep forgetting to. I'm not exactly a social media person, so I make the mistake of forgetting to post sometimes. So that is why I did not hit my 80-count follower goal. 

Now that my losses and wins have been listed…here are my new goals for September.

Blogger: I'm aiming for the goal of 5,000 followers, since last month was a bit slow. I'm sure I can pull off this goal easily, but I guess we shall see how this month plays out!

Medium & Vocal Media: I'm now lowering the goal to $25. It is not easy to hit $35, so I'm going to lower my expectations this time around. I think I can pull this goal off!

Benable: I'm still sticking to my goal of $3 a month. It honestly felt so good to accomplish this goal in August!

YouTube: Since this platform is honestly so damn hard to get a subscriber, I'm going to aim for 1,165 followers. I was in shock that I even got 23 followers last month, it's easy to get views, but getting followers is pretty tough! Hopefully I can reach this goal for September!

TikTok: I'm sticking with 10,000 followers as my goal for this month! I honestly can't believe how close I am, and I'm looking forward to the day when I will reach this goal! Once I do, I will write a future article on how to get monetized through this platform! I'm currently at 9,082, and I just need 918 more to go!

Threads: I'm sticking with my goal of 80 followers! Hopefully I won't forget to post this time!
