More Thoughts On Vocal Commenting
Should I Reply?

Introduction
While I don't get many comments, sometimes I will wake up and find maybe eight to ten comments on one of my stories.
The music is "What Can I Say?" by Boz Scaggs
What Should I Do?
The thing is, it takes time to reply to comments, and sometimes I just add an extra thank you comment, but sometimes a comment needs a reply, especially if there is a question or an expansion of the story.
I always feel incredibly unsupportive of other Creators, and my general stats confirm that I am not supportive of others.
Also, if someone has commented on mine, I feel I should be commenting on theirs to let them know what I feel about their story. I see comments on stories by popular Creators, and they often don't answer them, maybe because they don't need to, maybe they correspond in other ways or click through and like a story by the commenter.
I feel a little sad when I drop into stories, and I am the only comment on there, though I think my comment is better than none.
So I will continue doing what I do and feeling guilty about not supporting you as I should.
I do sometimes wish I had more time to be online, but when I publish this, I have another story to finish and publish, and two more (already written) to publish around midnight Greenwich Mean Time.
Conclusion
We can only do what we do, and we can only comment on stories that catch our attention, and thus support our friends.
Thank you so much for reading this and I would love to know what you think.

We are only human and can only do what we can do whatever it is. Good job. Good sharing.
There are several reasons I may leave an emoji, but I do generally try to leave a written comment
I don't like it when someone doesn't reply my comment. I don't deal well with being ignored 😅😅
No comment. Oops, I guess I did anyway. Ah well, what's a person to do?
I very much relate to this, Mike! Rarely do I feel that I am spending enough time commenting on other people's stories.
Sometimes I just leave a heart after reading, especially when I am reading while on hold at work (the best use of my hold time) Other times- like now- I try to also leave a comment. I suppose that is a failing of mine- I am not consistent and I use the --- too much. At my advanced age and attention span this does not appear to be on my improvement list.
Keep sharing your thoughts and feelings about what you read. I'm often too rushed to give a clear statement. But I will try...
Mike, one can only do so much. I wish I had more time to commit here, but I don't. I try to make my rounds a couple of times a week, and I often feel like I am not supportive enough, so I know exactly how you feel. Glad you posted this. You cheered me up a bit, and I appreciate that. Generally, I don't get a lot of comments either, but writing is my art, and the art must continue..
We just have to do the best we can. Thx for your efforts!
