I woke up this morning with the intention of writing, having been awake till 01:30 am trying to write with the TV on as background noise. This is the only time I can concentrate on writing as the rest of my day up till 10pm is occupied by errant children.

Oh—You’re a Writer!
I live in a 55+ community. Some of us still work, but most of the residents fill their days with exercise classes, card games, Mahjong, Bingo, and various social clubs. Since the community is in South Florida, the pool is always a popular location. Evenings offer regular activities like “Tipsy Tuesdays and concerts or dance bands on Friday nights. Of course, all the evening activities are over by no later than 9 o’clock. The old people mustn’t stay out too late or they could have an accident driving their golf carts home.

It was just a coincidence that my father bought a Harry Potter collection for entertainment on a train when we visited Egypt for a holiday (vacation), but since then I was hooked in the immersive world these stories can create. Tea: The Ultimate British Indulgence
