Early risers are blessed. (The early bird catches the worm)
This poem belongs to Chapter 2: Latin American Popular Sayings with a Soulful Adaptation.

Waking up early isn’t just about opening your eyes,
nor racing before dawn breaks.
It’s hearing that quiet call inside,
one that doesn’t shout, but never fades away.
It’s when something deep tells you,
this isn’t all there is,
this isn’t your full self.
You’re not doing things wrong,
but you’re not yet giving all you have.
You laugh, you talk, watch the world go by,
but there’s an echo that won’t stop,
a soft tremor whispering there’s still more.
Waking early means stepping out of autopilot,
letting go of distractions that numb you,
asking why you’re here,
and having the courage to wait for the answer.
And when that answer comes,
even if it’s silent,
in sleepless nights,
or a quiet inner whisper,
you know—it’s God speaking to you.
God has never forgotten you,
never made you feel distant from your true self.
He was just waiting for you to draw near,
for you to rise early to your purpose.
And then everything changes.
You sleep less but wake full of energy.
Hours seem to multiply,
ideas flow freely,
doors open without force,
energy bursts as if you belong to another world,
because now you’re aligned with your divine purpose.
It’s not the clock, but the soul that rises early,
because you finally stopped delaying your truth,
because you chose to act and vibrate in your essence.
And when that happens,
God stops whispering in your ear
and starts holding you completely.
