All Challenges Completed
But Still Unable To Publish A Brand New Story
Introduction
As always, I felt under pressure when the eight new challenges dropped. Today, on Christmas Eve, I completed the last one.
I think there may be an issue. Because I still cannot publish a brand new story on this account, all my work is classed as being an update of a previous story (like this one is). As Challenge entries need to be unpublished, the chances are these will be just classed as previously published, therefore not eligible for the challenges.
I am grateful that Vocal have given me a year's free V+, but prior to the latest issue, I was more than covering my subscription with reads and bonuses.
I am still waiting for news on the site update, but it is two months since I got any kind of bonus from Vocal.
I really hope I am completely wrong about this, but we shall see.

A major achievement, Mike. I don't know if winning a challenge or even getting a Top Story has anything more to it than the right place at the right time and striking it lucky, whoever is judging. Hope your issue gets resolved. You have blown the system up with all your stories published. 😉😉

While it’s impressive that you’ve completed all of the challenges, I have my eye on the deadlines, and I’m making notes, compiling reading lists for each challenge, and beginning my rough drafts. Two challenges seem tailor-made for me, and I intend to put my consciously best effort forth. It’s possible that I will produce something worth reading.
Unfortunately, the video is unavailable in the US for some reason. I am glad Vocal gave you a year of Vocal +. They really value you. 🥰
