My 2,024th Vocal Story In The Year 2024
Introduction
My thousandth Vocal Story got a Top Story and praise from many Facebook Vocal Groups, my 1500th also got a Top Story and a $15 Vocal Bonus and recognition from Vocal, my 2000th and this will get nothing since the start of the year I have apparently become a Vocal Pariah.
I have been criticised for not giving myself enough credit, but self-praise is no recommendation, having said that, I will turn it on its head and say that I know I am an excellent writer and poet, and certainly one of the best villanelle creators on Vocal. I have no doubt about my own talent and there may be between five and ten Vocal creators who agree with me.
So Where Am I In 2024?
With the love, encouragement and friendship of many Vocal Creators, I have become a successful on Vocal. I get a good number of reads and with over 800 subscribers I get a good number of reads each day. I am unlikely to get another Top Story or Challenge placement but I will keep entering in the hope that that might change.
I know my work is more than good enough and is improving every day. My stories get a good number of comments and often gushing praise, which really raises my spirits, and I have said in the past, that means far more to me than a Top Story or challenge placement.
I know I and my friends and audience consider me an excellent Creator and so I will mark this place as another impressive success. I will write more poetry, more fiction, more challenge entries, more articles on how Vocal can improve their model, and I will be read and taken notice of.
I will get encouraged, and be shown love, and people will tell me they want more from me, and I will give it to them.
This is me well on my way to my 3,000th Vocal story, so you are going to get a lot more from me going forward.
I wasn't sure how I was going to mark this, but this is my 2,024th Vocal story published on the fifth of March 2024.
Thank you for reading this, for your encouragement and support, and for Vocal for providing the platform so that I can share my work, and people can read and appreciate it.

Why We Write
I write for a variety of reasons, and I am sure that other Vocal Creators do as well. I am not sure whether my primary aim is to create something where there was once nothing or to connect with others through my creation. I certainly love connecting with others and love it when they are complimentary about my creations.
