The Ingleton Waterfall Trail
A Five Mile Walk After The Rain

Introduction
Today I took this walk, better prepared than last time or so I thought. This is the web site.
What Happened Today
Below is my Instagram post with a lot of videos of the various falls.
I love that the entrance makes me think of Jurassic Park, I am not sure why, and I have just realised that if you don't go through the entrance and main gate you could probably enjoy the trail for free, though to do that you would have come over the moors or approach from the end of the trail.

For some reason, I thought I could do it in an hour, but it is a four and a half mile trail with lots of steep paths and with an estimated time of two and half hours.
Because of the recent rain, all the falls were much more powerful than when I last came, and the videos are on my Instagram post.
Along the way there were a lot of Money Trees where people have hammered coins into dead tree trunks.

The paths are not easy but the falls are definitely worth the effort, and people carve their names on racks and trees as you wander along.
You are continually going up, but when you think about it waterfalls do need height to become a waterfall.

All the way along ths, just when you think you have reached the top, the path takes another steep turn , but seeing all those five waterfalls was truly worth the effort.
I have to reiterate, watch the Instagram videos to get an idea, but I did find these two YouTube videos:
I am shattered but exhilarated after doing the trial, so will soon be in my bed.

I've never seen money hammered into trees before. That's a different take on things!
That’s so interesting about the money tree! With job people must’ve had trying to stick those coins in the dead wood! Thank you for sharing.
Such a relaxing tour brother, great pics
Can imagine that people would want to cut that trunk! A relaxing walk you must have had.
What a great tour you just gave us. Loved the scenes of nature.
