A Weekend in Buxton. Top Story - May 2024.
All my life, I’ve been English in an emotional, mental, and social way, but never a physical one until the Spring of 2022 when all my Anglophile dreams came true. I was finally able to visit my soul country, meet my wonderful online friends in person, and confirm my belief that it was where I belonged.

Beautiful Debrecen
Debrecen is the second largest city in Hungary and the regional center of the Northern Great Plain region. White Rose Of The Revolution is a lovely monument that was erected in front of the University Reformed Church. It is a reminder of the 1956 attempted revolutions and those who died in the struggle. The sculpture was designed and created by Miklos Melocco, a member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.

Jolly Old England
Some would say I’ve been very fortunate as far as travel goes, and I would have to agree. Mostly because of my jobs, I’ve visited forty-nine of the fifty states and all but two Canadian Provinces. My non-work wanderings have taken me to nine European countries and the continent of Australia. As you may have guessed by the title, one of my favorite places to visit is England.

MY Homeland Magic
My dear friends, come closer and brace yourselves for the captivating story of my magical adventure in England. I’ll never forget the journey; it left me in awe and gave me memories that will last a lifetime. From a young age, I’ve always imagined myself journeying to this mythical land. I have dreamed of going to England since, I was seven years old. I finally got my chance to go, at 49 years of age. I was living my childhood dream.

Flowing through the Danube capital's history
The journey I have been waiting for the last 4 months. Few things can push me going trough fatigue like the idea of the next travel. This time the desire was stronger, as I felt I need to go by myself. Out of my comfort zone.
