Visit England's Glorious Stately Homes
Explore these historic beauties... I absolutely love history, especially the history of England. One of my favourite activities is to go and explore England's stately homes that are bursting with history, which I absorb like a sponge! The history, the architecture, art, antiques, the grand gardens, I love it all!

Visit: Leicester
Leicester is my home city. I suppose it is not really up there with cities to visit for a day trip, or a weekend city break. But it should be, as it is a city rich in history. Full of interesting tourist attractions, parks, restaurants, music scene, shopping centres, museums, theatres. A great nightlife, bars, nightclubs. Of course there is also Leicester Market, where many bargains can be found! A proud city; a beautiful city.

Visit the Top 5 Castles In the UK
I love castles, always have. There is something about them that just brings out the child within me! I suppose it's nostalgia from visiting so many castle's as a child, plus I loved The Canterville Ghost, and the game show Knightmare! Castles were places where fun was to be had!

A Walk Back Through Time in Spain
My friend Melisa was a wealth of knowledge. Everything we passed had a history to tell, most of the stories were probably even true! I was back visiting the town where I lived until I was two. Everything felt familiar; dusty memories from long ago still lurked inside.

Why Iceland Should Be Your Next Vacation Destination
Avid fans of the hit Game of Thrones television series know that Iceland’s breathtaking scenery plays a major role in its global success. The names that grace Iceland’s houses may not be the Starks or Umbers, but on a trip to this Nordic nation, you can certainly feel as though you are wandering a part of Westeros, the fictional land created by George RR Martin.

There is a hidden gem deep in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside, full of history, beauty and excitement. This gem is Foxton Locks. One of my all time favourite places to visit, the magical world of Foxton Locks has simply never worn off! Situated a few miles away from the historic town of Market Harborough, this gem is well and truly worth a visit.

A Trip to Athens
In February, my Dad invited me out to Athens, where he was volunteering at a refugee camp. He wanted me to experience the city, so of course I jumped at the chance to explore it myself. It wasn’t a place I’d considered visiting before, and I didn’t know what to expect. My previous trips to Greece mostly consisted of laying on beaches and floating in hotel swimming pools, but this wasn’t that kind of trip.
