It's not a proper trek through Canada without our guide to the best sights and activities our northern neighbor has to offer.
First Encounter With Wild Wolves
First Encounter With Wild Wolves My first encounter with wild wolves was back in the 2004 in Ontario Canada. Tori, Lupis and I packed our bags in our Jeep and headed up the highway to a remote park just north of Kingston Ontario. About a six hour drive from where we lived in Niagara Falls.

Biking at Green Lake
Green Lake in Whistler B.C. is one of the largest lakes in town. It is located out in Alpine Meadows going to Pemberton, BC. The whole town of Whistler has a biking trail to go up and about the area. In the summer, a lot of bikers travel the town to enjoy the heat and the beauty of Whistler. It is a tourist destination and haven of outdoor enthusiasts. The town is surrounded by magnificent valleys and lakes like you see on the back of me in that photo. Whistler is a ski resort in Canada and always been visited by people around the world to enjoy the Winter. In the summer, the ski resort will turn into a downhill biking trail and is one of the famous downhill biking spots in the world. Green Lake is also used for kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming too. This sand bar is huge where you can bike, walk, and chill when you visit. There are also lots of hiking trails around town, Wedge Mountain which is adjacent to Green Lake is one of the difficult hiking trails in Whistler. To go up that mountain will take you 4-6 hours depending on your skill. I was a beginner hiker and going up and down this mountain is the worst but enjoyable hiking I have ever done. I could not walk for 3 days after the hike. If you are a beginner hiker, don't attempt the Wedge Mountain. It's gonna be an excruciating hike you will ever experience. Overall, Green Lake is just one of the most beautiful lakes in Whistler and the surrounding neighborhood is beautiful too. People are nice and are living in comfort. If you ever come to Canada, Whistler is one of the best itineraries you can visit all year round. The outdoor activities are endless and surely, you will enjoy.

I Have an Accent (but it's not my First)
"You have an accent!" is a statement I heard for the first time an hours' drive north of my (current) hometown. At the time, I was only a little suprised to hear it. I'd moved to Canada only months before, so I was half-expecting people might pick up on my fresh-off-the-boat lilt.

Tips for Planning a Family Trip to Vancouver
Vancouver is a beautiful city located on Canada's Pacific coast in the province of British Columbia. Sandwiched between mountains on one side and beaches on the other, it offers visitors a wide variety of unforgettable experiences for the whole family. Vancouver is a few hours north of Seattle, Washington, and in many ways the cultures are similar. In other words, Vancouver is a haven for outdoorsy types as well as those who enjoy vibrant nightlife and an eclectic restaurant and shopping scene.

5 Reasons Canada is Better
I was at work and we were talking about the latest Trump endeavor (him killing Qassem Suleimani) and how weird it is to live in America right now. Like it's kind of a double edged sword - if your proud to be here most of the world thinks your an idiot and let's be real - it's not the best place in the world to live anymore.
