All Asia-bound travelers need some guidance before tackling the largest and most populous continent on Earth.
Discovering Japan
When finding out I would be going to Japan I knew there were so many things we needed to explore. Japan is such a fascinating country I want to explore everything. With Nick being here for 2 years I already know he will be able to find lots for us to do. Before leaving, however, I had to do some research of my own. I wanted to find the best destinations for us to explore. Not only that, but Japan is very different from America, so I wanted to make sure I didn't make a fool of myself, or worse, show anyone any disrespect.

Everything you need to know about traveling to Asian countries
by: Pardis Kiani In fact, traveling to another country, or even a continent, requires knowing information about the destination country so that tourists can experience a pleasant trip, but traveling to Asian countries can be a bit more complicated. Because of differences in their culture, language, and lifestyle, people in Asia are slightly different from other people of the world, and government laws can also be exaggerated. Of course, watching the beauty of this spectacular continent can be an amazing experience for everyone. In this article, I would like to remind you that it can be interesting and fun but really, that you should think about them well before traveling to Asian countries.

New Years in Japan
Almost every year I spend the new year watching the ball drop in New York on TV from my living room. Usually alone I might add. This year, however, was going to be different. This year, I will be in Japan. From the moment Nick asked me to go to Japan, it was our mission to get me there before the new year so we could bring in 2020 right.

The Time I Went to North Korea
I celebrated the millennium New Year three times. In chronological order, I celebrated the traditional ‘Western’ New Year on 31 December, I celebrated the Lunar New Year in North Korea, and then I celebrated Thai Songran in Bangkok. Each place was very different but the three together made for a great start to the 2000s. Perhaps my North Korean holiday was the most memorable, for many reasons.

A Week In the Philippines
I had the privilege to spend a week in the Philippines. I was so busy, but I was buzzing and it was amazing. The only downside to the holiday was coming home, feeling depressed and catching a nasty virus. That doesn’t take away the good times I had though. I was very tired, and now I’m writing this I can understand why: a 13 hour flight and severe jet lag. Because I was only there for a week, I wanted to cram as much in as possible.
