The Amazing Creations Of Gavin Penn
Introduction Although the website is under construction there are some amazing images to enjoy there. This is a totally unexpected post because I wandered into the Penn Gallery in Alnwick because the Star Wars Stormtroopers in the sea of the beach at Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne caught my eye.

A night at the Seine
A summer romantic night at the Seine It was a warm summer evening in Paris, and the Seine river was flowing peacefully beneath the brightly lit Eiffel Tower. The air was filled with the fragrance of freshly bloomed flowers and the sounds of distant laughter. Amidst this beautiful atmosphere, two lovers sat on a bench, gazing at the breathtaking scenery before them.

Renaissance Man (part 2 of 2)
Continued from Part 1 Heizer has managed his career extremely well. Besides his large earth works, He has continued his dialogue with a series of drawings, print issues and smaller sculptures made in his shop and studio at The City in Nevada. He is prolific and well received. The sale of these smaller works supports his basic operating and living expenses. DIA Foundation has provided the funds for the construction of The City and probably has now taken on ownership.

If walls could talk
If walls could talk, I would have quite the story to tell. For centuries, I have been standing here, watching the world go by from my vantage point in this old library. I am not just any wall – I have seen history unfold before my very eyes. I have witnessed wars, plagues, and revolutions, but I have also seen the beauty and joy of human existence. And all of it, every last bit, has been etched into my very being.

The Painted Atlas Presents: Art Deco Buildings Around the World, Part 1. Top Story - February 2023.
Hello, and welcome to my feature on Art Deco buildings around the world! My name is Denise Elnajjar, and I'm an illustrator who has just launched my project The Painted Atlas, where I will be painting something for each country, each week! Content is available now for members who join. This project was made possible by entering a challenge right here on Vocal, also judged by Memberful. (You can check out my original entry, "Armchair Traveling to Every Country Through Art" here!) It is my hope that The Painted Atlas each week will spark wonder and maybe even a little joy. It is suitable for lovers of travel, design, art, geography, and more. A portion of suscription proceeds will go towards efforts to remove plastic from the oceans.
