I Kicked Napoleon Dynamite’s Ass in Las Vegas
In 2014 and 2015, my Bride and I took trips to Las Vegas. Back-to-back years. No, it wasn’t because we loved Las Vegas so much that we had to do it two years in a row. It was more of a “Somebody bailed out on our plans, I guess we get to go again, now.” type of thing.

Some of you might be wondering what a trucker hotel is. It is a hotel on the side of the road that mainly truck drivers stay in; usually, they are near a rest stop and have a diner attached, with a gas station; therefore, a trucker hotel.

Long Island On My Mind
Even though Long Island is not one of the five boroughs, it is very much a place to explore when visiting New York City. It is a primarily urbanized and densely populated island and part of the New York metropolitan area. Long Island begins at New York Harbor east of Manhattan Island and extends eastward into the Atlantic Ocean. It consists of four counties – Kings (the New York borough of Brooklyn) and the borough of Queens, Nassau County, and Suffolk County. Brooklyn Roads. Top Story - September 2022.
Even when you leave the borough of Manhattan behind and head into Brooklyn you can still see the incredible Manhattan skyline from many points in Brooklyn. This is the borough where I was born and raised, and often, as I daydream I set off on Brooklyn roads and return there in my mind.

Give My Regards to Broadway
To me, New York City is my hometown. I know it well, so I can tell you that most visitors come to see the sights of Manhattan but do not try to include the other boroughs, which are well worth a visit. New York City consists of five boroughs – Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island. Each of them has something to offer visitors.
