Travel from sea to shining sea; by car or by plane, there's plenty to see in the good ole US of A.
Enjoying the American Riviera
Santa Barbara is a beautiful coastal city in Santa Barbara County, California. The city lies between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Since it has a Mediterranean kind of climate the city has been referred to as the “American Riviera.” Everywhere you look there are amazing things to see like palm-lined beaches and elegant Spanish-style architecture.

Acknowledge Columbus
Hip Hop rapper/executive Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter once quipped, “The only Christopher we acknowledge is Wallace” alluding to his slain fellow rapper and friend Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace. Nevermind the fact that he has supported in apparel and song the “virtues” of Ché Guevera or decried policeman, this leftist line of thinking is supremely toxic.

The last known ship of the US slave trade
"It's crazy to think they would have sailed right past here," Darron Patterson said, pulling his car onto a scrap of grass overlooking the murky Mobile River. As president of the Clotilda Descendants Association, Patterson is well versed in talking about the voyage of the Clotilda – the last known slave ship to reach America. His great-great-grandfather was Kupollee, later renamed Pollee Allen; one of the 110 men, women and children cruelly stolen from Benin in West Africa and brought to the US onboard the notorious ship.

Most stunning waterfalls on earth
People go from all over the world to witness waterfalls, one of the most amazing natural wonders on earth, since they are powerful and inspiring forces of nature. There are many hundreds of waterfalls in the world, including the Havasu Falls in the Grand Canyon, the Niagara Falls on the US/Canada border, and Maine. However, the most stunning waterfalls are not always the tallest. Take Croatia's Plitvice Waterfalls, which feature 16 lakes that merge to form a succession of waterfalls and cascades.

Dam! It's So Close To Las Vegas
Only 35 miles from The Strip, it takes less than one hour to drive there. Boulder Dam, as it was once known, is the result of a government work project that took five years to build, $49 million (1931), $777 million (2016) and twenty-one thousand men. Impressive in its stature, standing 726 feet tall and goes from 660 feet wide at the base to a mere 45 feet wide at the top. Holding back the huge volume of water stored in the reservoir weighs so much that it deformed the earth's crust, causing more than 600 small earthquakes in the late 1930s. The Lake was formed by damming the Colorado River at Black Canyon. The purpose of this is to provide 1.5 million kilowatts of electricity to the surrounding communities in Nevada, Arizona, and southern California.
