Portal To Paradise
Back in 2016 I took an anniversary vacation trip to Oahu Hawaii. It was a mind shattering experience and I was awakened to the true beauty of nature for the first time. I had always wanted to go there so being in Hawaii was already dream come true. When we arrived at our hotel room I froze up and just stared out into the open ocean. I was mesmerized by colors of the world around us.

Honolulu Holiday
Is there a certain place that is on your bucket list for taking a vacation? For me that place is Honolulu. My parents went there to celebrate thirty years of marriage. After hearing all of their stories and seeing pictures of the beautiful ocean, I've wanted to go there myself.

Where Longing Will Lead To
What is it about lockdown that makes you long for something? Not just the fact that you are limited in what you can do, in where you can go, and who you can see, but being alone with your thoughts, with your memories, and your thoughts of what you want your future to be. Do I dare even think about it, a vacation? A much, much needed vacation in a time where there is no lockdown and no social distancing, no being alone. Just thinking of a vacation away from this "vacation" makes my heart ache.

New York New York
I hope everyone is enjoying my last few post about these awesome cities. I've got to admit I was not a fan of New York at the first time. I was expecting to be amazed, then I was a bit disappointed but then I started coming back and I realized there's so much more to it than just the Times Square or souvenir stores. At some point New York started really growing onto me and now I love spendinhg there my weekends with some friends. The key to it I guess is soing all touristy things at once and then moving on to discovering the real city. So let’s come back to New York!

New York New York
Last year I somehow ended up going to New York about 3 times in a very short period of time. Since my husband was new to the city I had to plan carefully where to take him and how t satisfy his apetite for this huge city during only one weekend we had over there. One of the times I visited the city was to meet up with my parents who have never been to the USA before. Can you imagine that? First time in this big country and straight to the Times Square? That's what I call a real American Dream. Usually that's also where it ends since the crowds start attacking you and you end up hating all the human kind after 5 minutes of being there.
