I Road-tripped Over 4,000 Miles and These Are My Favorite Stops
It’s not often these days that we get to slow down and just live for the moment. My husband and I don’t often take long, planned out vacations for so many reasons, but mainly it has to do with work and money. Our goal for the first part of 2018 was to change that! After much debate and indecisiveness, we decided to drive to Phoenix, Arizona all the way from where we reside in Ormond Beach, Florida.

The Aftermath: Nice, France (Part 3)
Whenever you see Nice, or the general south of France area in the movies it is without fail sunny. Sunshine, fancy cars, and gorgeous women, pretty much summarize the entire depiction of the region in the media. So I wasn't really expecting to blend in at all, with my backpack and bus pass. However, when I was there it rained. And it was perfect.

I Rode My Bike to the Black Sea. Top Story - August 2018.
About a month ago now I was sat alone on a crowded beach in Bulgaria. With an aching arm from a tetanus shot, stitches all up my leg and bottle of wine in hand, I vacantly looked out at the black sea trying to comprehend the fact that I’d just managed to make it here alive. Alone. And on a bike.

The Aftermath: Thailand (Part 2)

So this is my first. It's a couple of points on traveling I wish I had known before. Here we go...

Traveling: The New Materialism?
This is a bit of a controversial topic that I wanted to write about for a while but never got around to it. I have had countless debates with my friends about it and never came to an agreement. Yes, buying tangible things and buying travel experiences are fundamentally different. However, I don't think they're so far apart. As I've grown up and started earning an income, luxuries started to become viable. New cars, houses, and vacations started to become attainable to me. I've had my fair share of material purchases and vacation experiences. For me, I would have to say that I don't think I gained more satisfaction from one over the other. I believe it all comes down to perception and personal preferences.

What You Need to Know Before Attempting #Vanlife
We've all seen those Instagram posts, beautifully clean van, back door open looking over an azure sky and a golden beach. It is enough to make any of us want to swap our lives for the promise of a life of freedom, beaches and adventure in a small space. Well it was certainly a dream of mine, and last year me and my partner did just that, nine months in a small space, driving around Australia in an old works van that we turned into our little home on wheels. Here's some things I learnt during those nine months:
